Marketing Calendar with Upcoming Emails

When you have many campaigns running, it can be difficult to know which emails will be delivered on what day. I'd like to see a calendar, like that in Outlook, showing which emails will go out at what time on each day.

That will make it easier to avoid overlapping emails and spot gaps in communication.

Hi Folks,

We have started redesigning this ground up. It is a high priority for us next year.

I will have a narrower delivery range in Q1. We’ll do a “sneak peak” webinar sometime then to get some feedback from you guys and show what we have planned.

Will update this thread.

Thanks

Aj

A good start could be as simple as a new Marketing Activities filter view More Campaigns... > Batch Campaigns - Scheduled with Emails.  Would not be exactly what is needed but if it is quick to execute on (don't know that it is) it'd at least be some kind of progress.

Would love an update on this from a Marketo person.  Seems like a lot of interest and a feature that a lot of other automation providers have.  Very difficult to manage a team of 30 global users when I can't see a calendar of upcoming and past campaigns.

Subscribing!
Long time coming but no progress yet, still at 'we like it' stage

It looks like this idea has been on the table for a long time, and that it was slated for release almost 2 years ago.
What happened?

When will this feature be released?  Do you have a timetable?

Hi Mike -

I work in the marketing department at Marketo and we've been organizing email communications via Google Calendar, while building our suppressions and traffic control via Marketo. We have a master “Integrated Calendar” that is accessed by all in marketing, then there are specific calendars (i.e. Webinar Calendar) that a few are responsible to manage/update. Each calendar has its own color, so we can easily identify the type of program.

Within the app, we use the "Not Was Sent Email" in past X days suppression filter in our smart campaigns. For nurturing emails, we use traffic cop so we control repitition of offers.

Here's an article that has a couple examples from users:

Our Marketo usage is much more complex than before and its becoming impossible to plan new campaigns without stepping on others. It would be great if there were an ETA on this feature given the fact its a) very popular and b) its been outstanding for quite some time.

In the mean time, I would like to hear how MARKETO's marketing department addresses this challenge. Maybe it will give us some guidance in our own work.
Thanks
