Marketo Campaign Planning

Hi everyone,A problem my team is currently running into is planning out Marketo implementations ahead of time. As I'm sure you are all aware standing up a landing page, smart lists, flows, emails and everything in between takes time and often relies on multiple members of the marketing team.I was wondering if anyone has any best practices or planning docs they use with their teams that outline what backend is required for a campaign or initiative that the team can fill out before sending to operations for set up. Hopefully this will help to remove some of the ad-hoc Marketo setups that tend to happen.

In addition to the planner, you should setup Program Templates that are pre-built and clonable. Put them in a folder called 95. - Program Templates.

Use Tokens to be able to churn out these fast by dropping in replacable areas quickly.

- Form
- LP
- Email Autoresponse
- 01 - Registration/Autoresponder (send campaign)
- My Tokens - create Text and RichText tokens that you will place into the Email and LP and will be in the same place, but have diff text every time.
