Marketo Certification Pass mark?

Does anyone have any idea if the MCE Exam pass mark is 75 or 80%?  I've done my exam but I have a few colleagues who are looking to do the exam so I was just wondering?

It was 80% to pass but then as of Monday afternoon it was 75% to pass.

I heard rumon they were thinking about dropping it down to 70% because so many people did not pass. This exam was much harder this year than in previous years.

Hey Juli, from the Marketo Certification FAQ:  

20.    What is the passing score on the exam?

We do not share the passing score of our exams.  Marketo will be revising and updating exams on a regular basis to keep in step with product changes.  Because the content of the exam will change over time, it is also possible that the passing score will also change on different versions of the exam.  We have chosen to not share this information to prevent confusion for people who have taken the exam at different times.

They still have some cleanup to do on their materials, then...

  • The study prep materials still said 80% as of last week
  • I know for a fact people were passing at Summit with 75%
  • The exam itself said 80% yesterday (although to be fair, it also said the exam would be 90 questions when there were really 98).
If it doesn't look cool, you're probably doing it wrong.
