Marketo Program Name Update

Hi All,

 

We are planning to change our Marketo program names due to some product updates. My question here is, how can we add the "ABC" (it's an example) keyword in all our Marketo programs in one go?"

No, you can't update multiple program names in just one swoop via GUI. If you have the IDs of all the programs you want to update, you can automate the name update using the update Program metadata API endpoint. One thing I'd like to mention is that upon renaming a Marketo asset/program the activity that has already been written with the original name in the activity logs of people won't change to reflect the new name- so you'd likely have to be cognizant of that (especially while adding the program/asset name with the contains operator in filters/triggers).
