Marketo x Certain Software

Hello,

 

I am working on an integration between Marketo and Certain, which is an event registration platform. I followed these instructions and provided the developer with everything he needed to set up the API on Certain's end. I created a smart campaign (an empty one) so that I was able to provide him with a campaign ID. But now I'm stuck. What do I need to do to actually see the event registrants flowing into Marketo?

What does Certain's documentation say? That link to the Marketo docs is just about setting up an API user (I presume Certain told you the specific API permissions they need).

All I have from them is this:

 

"Here is the configuration information to share with Marketo:
We are passing the following fields to Marketo using the “Trigger Campaign” method, each time someone completes a registration:
First Name
Last Name
Email
Job Title
Company Name
Phone Number"

OK, the method they’re talking about is Request Campaign (trigger.json) via the API.

 

To use this, they must have a requestable Smart Campaign to call. Did you provide that campaign ID?
