Master Template slow to approve

Hi All

We have a master template that we use for about 30 business units.

Lately when we make changes it takes a very long time (20-30 minutes) to approve any changes we make to the template or sometimes it just hangs and if we refresh the page we see it has been approved.

Currently there are about 3300 email programs using this template.

What do others do when they see this slow down in approving changes to their master template?

I think this is a known issue and it is usually faster to complete the template approval process during the quiet hours when not a lot of activities are going on in the instance.
