Multiple branding domains

Having two branding domains for emails set-up in Marketo: Add an Additional Branding Domain - Marketo Docs - Product Docs

Any experiences or recommendations on this?

If you switch on a per-email basis when creating a new email will it have any chance of affecting the Unsubscribe Token or there will always be one global unsubscribe link?

Hi Erik,

It will not affect the unsubscribe token. BTW, if these 2 domains are different (different brands of different languages) you should probably have distinct unsubscribe page and in this case, the unsub token is no longer the right way to go.

Also, if yo are using workspaces, you may want to assign the primary branding domains for each workspace. If you do not have the workspaces, the default is the first branding domain that was set up.

You may also give or restrict the right for users to change the branding domain (if they do not have the right to change it, they will always use the workspace default).

I have a question RE the need to use multiple Unsubscribe pages.  Can't we just leverage Segments and Dynamic Content on 1 global unsubscribe page?

You could, but if you have localized LP domains, you should also have localized unsubscribes because otherwise you'll lose tracking (yes, even unsubscribers should have associated sessions so you can see their activities leading up to the unsubscribe).

Thanks Grégoire!

I have not yet had to put up multiple branding domains, but it is definitely good to know.
