Need help on User Context APIs

Hi All,

Can anyone help understanding user context APIs. I have gone through the marketo documentation but it does not address my questions. I am not sure where custom variables should be defined and what values are to be passed into same specially when we are intergrating it with other 3rd parties.

Where the user context API script should be added? on every page of the site? how will it pass values to custom variables?

I can try running the simple campaigns using user context APIs custom variables so I can understand the usage and make use of it
