On "How To BIMI" and the svg file type

Hello!

I was just asked to implement BIMI for one of our products, and I've read this article: https://nation.marketo.com/t5/Support-Blogs/How-to-BIMI/ba-p/296966. But when I tried to upload the svg file to Marketo's design studio, it told me I couldn't. "Potentially unsafe file blocked (IMAGE/SVG+XML)". Has anyone found a way around this?

Thanks!
Michael

Here's a walkthru on saving out an .svg from Illustrator that Marketo will accept when you upload it: https://nation.marketo.com/t5/Product-Discussions/Potentially-unsafe-file-blocked-IMAGE-SVG-XML/m-p/309664/highlight/true#M174807

Dave, BIMI already has specific XML content requirements so trying to play whackamole with the content filter (which could change at any time) seems both cumbersome and fragile. Changing the extension is a simple fix.

Set the extension to .XML, not .SVG.

Thanks Sanford. Done that. I could upload, let's see if that image URL is accepted on the DNS server.
