"Pausing" an engagement program

Hello,

I'd like to pause an engagement send for this week.

Am I better off using a smart campaign to "Change Program Cadence" to Paused, or should I go into setup and turn the program to Off.

In either case, once the program is resumed, will the people in the program go back to the same position in the drip as before I paused it?  (as opposed to going back to the top of the Stream)

Thanks!

Hi Lisa,

It's simpler to turn the program to off.

In both cases, it will resume exactly where you left it, each person with the next new content in her stream.

Hi Greg,

Does this hold true for a webinar/event campaign as well? I have a user who wants to automate as much as she can but there are often last-minute changes. Sometimes that just means changing the text in the email but other times, it means delaying and email or not sending it at all.
