Pausing certain content for qualified users in a nurture stream.

Is it possible to pause a specific email in a nurture stream if a user qualifies? I send a Newsletter from a nurture stream and I want to pause specific users from getting one email. I know I can pause a value for a user, but that would pause them from receiving all newsletters versus the need for one email.

You'll need to do this via programs inside of the stream vs. actual emails.

With a program, you can build a smart campaign which you can add filter logic into that determines who should be sent the email.

Hi All,

I am trying to pause/block a specific email in a nurture stream from sending to a specifc audience, the same as mentioned in this post.

For the smart list: member of program is x

Flow: How can I block a specific email. I can pause a user, but as soon as this user is unpaused they will then receive the backlogged email in the nurture. I need to simply block the user from receiving the specific email. I dont want to remove them from the stream or flow and cant think of another flow to pause/block the email??

Hi Jim,

In attempt to set up the program in our nurture stream, I think I hit a block. I was going to specify for users who downloaded one of our eBooks to be skipped from receiving the newsletter. The issue is this: We used the "has user activity" filter to track downloaded and requested eBooks. When I add in this filter, it only gives me the option to select true or false, not select true for a specific user activity. We definitely do not want to prevent (or send) this email to everyone who does or doesn't have user activity. Is there a work around for this?

How are you tracking if a user is downloading that specific eBook?

Depending on how that's set up you can potentially use: Filled Out Form > Is > {whatever the form name is}; Member of List/Static List > Is > {name of list}; etc.
