If a lead unsubscribes from all marketing communications, does it make sense to pause the lead from nurture or remove them completely? just trying to understand what best practice is - thanks.

If you remove them from the nurture then it will remove them completely from reporting, this usually not best practice. So, either you can pause them. Or, what I have done before is move them to an empty stream. We would put all of our leads that either unsubscribed or bounced into an empty stream called "Bad Data".

+1 on Valerie's point.

We usually set 2 empty streams, one for successes and one for failures. Unsubscribes are moved to the failure stream.
