Progrem Member Custom Score fields

In one of the discussions in the nation we were exchanging ideas on use cases for program member custom fields. One of the ideas entered there was to use program-specific scoring. I happened to have a use case for that this week and investigated, but it turns out PMCFs cannot be set up as Score fields.

Does anyone else have this use case? Would it make sense to have this field type added?
