Query parameter in URL causes uniqueness

In RTP assets tab, RTP considers abc.com/assets/pdf/example.pdf and abc.com/assets/pdf/example.pdf?action=download as different assets, although they are really the same asset.

Can this be a enhancement feature where these are considered as the same asset?
