It would be helpful to have a read-only user role for users who would like access to Marketo to view campaigns and reports but not have access to edit/create assets. This would provide control to admins/trained users and minimize errors like running a flow step or changing activated campaigns.

How do we set this up that everything is viewable but they have no rights?  When I go to Admin > Users and Roles, I set one up where they can view everything in the overall folder but unchecked everything in the permissions underneath (i.e. cannot add, delete, etc.).  Today I tested it with someone on my team and she was able to create new programs, new folders, etc.  This means they have the ability to add new objects in our system.  How do we remove that entirely from our view?

Thanks! That's good to know.

And that this type of user role would not count against your user total user number!

Hi Dina-
We do that by making a profile that essentially has no rights but everything is viewable.

Just keep in mind that if you grant them more than one role, the role with higher permissions will win out in their profile.

Thanks,
Brigid
