Report on Leads Hitting Communication Limit

Is there a way to run a report of leads who have hit their communication limit for a given week?

AFAIK, you can create a new score type field and set a batch campaign that updates the score to +1 every end of day if an email was sent to a lead that day. Every Sunday night, you can run a batch campaign to clear it so it would start over to 0 on Monday.

Then you can run a report or create a smart list of leads filtered by email counter value is greater than 1 (or whatever your communication limit is).

Does this make sense? Happy to help!

You can navigate to Admin > Field Management > New Custom Field. The new field type will be score.

Thank you. What is the API Name? I just want to make sure I fully understand this. Is there anything else that needs to be done around this new field?

We are looking to do this as well, wish there was a filter for communication limits. Just so that I pull the right criteria, our communication limits are 2 per 6 days. What would i do for the email counter?

This is a little difficult to do.  You would need to create a smartlist for this.

What you could do is create a smart campaign which tallies a communication score where the score is incremented any time a communication goes to that lead.  Then filter based on relative score for the last 7 days.
