Hello,

Does anyone know where segmentation processing falls in the priority chart?

Following.  I have the same question.

This chart is a guide for smart campaign processing, which would not include the system processing for segmentation updates. 

Generally, segments tend to perform faster in smart campaigns/lists because the persons are queued up in the segmentation so the data is more readily available to your campaigns.  I use them to supplement data-intensive processes.

It's even better than that, the segment is a property of the person.
