Show which API and API user created/updated a record

It would be really helpful if any new records or changes made by the API indicated which API created them (REST v. SOAP) and, for the REST API, which API user it was. Right now the New Lead activity seems to look like the below, which isn't very descriptive. For customers running multiple custom integrations, this is essential for troubleshooting where new leads or bad data is coming from.

This other idea shows that it's "Being worked on". Can we get an update on this?

This would be GREAT. I think I've submitted a couple of support tickets that would have been solved just knowing which user either created or last updated a lead record.

Huge cosign on this, with the additional request of being able to actually constrain on Source Info when leads are created via API--right now I can route around this using a combination of batching and filters, but this isn't always the ideal solution (i.e., I'd like not have to force recurring batches for something that only happens maybe once or twice a week.)

A+ Idea, Grant!

Also add an IP address for the source of the call!

That's a really good idea!
