Single Sign-On Enforcement for API Accounts

Trying to figure out exactly what "Require SSO" will change.  I see that I can allow specific roles to bypass SSO, but, do I need to set that for specific API-related roles?  For example if I have API-only accounts, do I need to set the API role accounts to bypass SSO?  Or will they continue to work if I don't set that?

Thanks!

Turning on SSO shouldn't impact your API only users as they're special users administered by other users in your instance and are never used for logging-in to the Marketo, however, as a good practice I would not mind selecting by-pass SSO for the API roles. FYR, there's a similar community thread here too.
