Correct. So long as your program "NEWS 2013-08-19 Campground Hiking"  is synced to the same SFDC campaign code that you currently reference in that flow step, you'll be set.

Thanks Jeff,
So just to be clear, I should only keep the top change progression status step, correct?

Hi Tom,

This sort of error will pop up to warn you that your SFDC campaign flowstep will be ignored if that smart campaign belongs to a program that is using the SFDC campaign link functionality. The reason for this is that a Marketo Program is generally designed to be linked on a 1:1 basis with a SFDC campaign code. This is so the membership in both systems will match, and your reporting maintains consistency.

The SFDC campaign flowstep you're likely using is somewhat of a legacy feature, as it was around before Marketo programs existed. It still exists in the product for compatibility's sake, and for certain specific instances where you might not want to use a program.

To avoid the error, don't use the SFDC campaign flowstep unless it's independent of a program. Instead, link your programs to SFDC campaign codes, and use the "Change progression status" flowstep.

Hope this helps,
