I'd like to be able to generate a smart list of all leads that did not come through my CRM (specifically it's salesforce), what's the best way to do that?
Additionally is it possible to generate a smart list of leads that came via static lists? What filter would I need to pull for that?

What you can do is use the filter "lead was created".
For your first question, use the constraint of "source type: is not salesforce.com". This will show all leads not originally created from SFDC.
For your second question, use the constraint of "source type: is list import". This will show all leads created from a list import.
