I am seeking clarification on the feasibility of using the SOAP API in conjunction with the native integration with Salesforce to make updates to the same partition in Marketo.

 

As of my understanding, there were some restrictions in the past concerning the maintenance of auto-synchronization with Salesforce and the use of SOAP API calls within the same Marketo partition.

 

Could you kindly provide insights or updated information on whether these restrictions persist? I am particularly interested in understanding how updates made through SOAP API calls align with auto-synchronization settings, especially when operating within a specific Marketo partition.

Are you referring to the Marketo SOAP API? This is deprecated never be used anymore, only the REST API should be used.

 

Or do you mean the SFDC SOAP API?

 

Overall, the question isn’t really clear. What systems and objects — please provide full details — are you looking to update via API?
