SSO configuration - Metadata file

Hi,

We're trying to configure SSO in Marketo using several possible URLs. 

We tried to test SSO using https://login.marketo.com/saml/assertion/<your-munchkin-id> but I'm getting this error "Error processing SAML message. Request was ill-formed in some way." Does anyone know why this error occurs?

My IdP Support team is also requesting to provide them a metadata xml-file to connect, how can I get this file?

 

Any help/advice would be appreciated!!

That is indeed the url the SSO request needs to be sent to. But did you set SSO up on the Marketo end correctly?

Hi.. I'm having the same issue , how do I get the metadata file so I can input in my SSO provider ?

Hi,

We can't get the metadata file directly from our Marketo instances, what I did, I created my own metadata file, there are a few pages that can help you with. This is one of them:  https://www.samltool.com/sp_metadata.php . I reviewed the specifications that Identity Provider team shared and it worked.
