Syncing Marketo Custom Field To Salesforce

Question

Hi there,

I do have a custom field in Marketo which is being used in 100s of SCs. Name - abc, Type - Number

Initially this was not required to sync to with SFDC. Now there is a requirement to map this field with SFDC. How to do this?

I tried many ways, read about it. I know that creating field in SFDC on first hand makes the process easy. But in my use case, how to do it?

Hi @saurabhgoyal_gn

One of the best way you do can is:
1. Create the field in SF on Lead and Contact object
2. Have that synced to Marketo
3. Then get the fields merged/ remapped from Marketo Support.

Advice: Always take a backup of the field before getting remapped or merged on a safer side.
