Timeout of Marketo login session

Hi there,

I don't know if it's just me and how I use Marketo (multiple tabs open in Marketo sometimes) but recently I've been asked to log back in everytime I refresh the browser or move away from it.

Just wondering if the timeout on Marketo has been changed and if not, what is the normal session timeout set?

Hi there,

I think a 4-hour timeout is rather short. I typically need to check or do something in the system once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and finally late evening. That means every day I have to log in three times, and navigate back to what I was working on. It's quite annoying, especially since I don't realize that I'm actually logged out until I try clicking on a program in the menu -- that's when I get kicked out. I wish the timer would be long enough to keep me logged in for the duration of the day, that would save me a lot of frustration.

    The normal timeout is four hours, however, if you go back to the login page it can invalidate your session and prompt you to log in again. If you keep a Marketo window up, it'll stay logged in for the 4 hours.
