Token - Name Of Month

Hello, is there a token available to insert in an email template and subject line for the month only? For example, I want the email to insert the title of the month "July" or "June" or "August" automatically when an email goes out. I am not finding an option for this.

Very easily done with a Velocity (Email Script) token:

I don't think there's a need for an additional token when there's an entire language of date formatting available to fit every possible arrangement.

    I've used the script you've mentioned here, however it just displays the {{token}} in the email content. Has this solution changed? We're just wanting to populate the current month only using the system date field for an automated email.

    What do you mean by “just displays the {{token}}“?

     

    You need to create the Velocity {{my.token}} and then also make sure you’re in the same part of the Marketing Activities tree when assembling the email (in other words, if the {{my.token}} is in Folder A, you need to send from a descendent of Folder A).
