Token to automate COVID cases on a landing

We are creating a landing page to consolidate our materials related to COVID-19. 

 

We would like to put a data band at the top and have some updated stats. Is there anyway to automate external data like COVID cases, unemployment, etc so it's relatively up to date? I know it's kind of a long shot, but it would be super cool to have that. Thanks!

Sounds like a really upbeat LP...

 

Yes, there are OpenData APIs that can bring the real-time WHO, JHU, etc. statistics into a web page. 

 

If you don't need much configurability and just want a prefab widget, try https://elfsight.com/coronavirus-stats-widget/create/

Haha, upbeat landing. I know:( We are using our data to help people understand the COVID impact on the job market, the number of cases is an interesting datapoint to consider along with our data.
