Updating Marketo fields with information from a non-Marketo form

Hi all,

I'm currently trying to get data entered in a non-Marketo form to update lead information within Marketo.

Is there an easy way to match the form fields with fields within Marketo? Or would it be a whole lot easier to replace the existing form with one made in Marketo and embed?

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Luis,

as Nicholas noted, the easiest way is to replace the form you have with a Marketo form. However, if that is not possible, for example, because the data from that form needs to go somewhere else besides Marketo, then you can submit the information to Marketo in the background using a hidden Marketo form. See details here:http://developers.marketo.com/blog/make-a-marketo-form-submission-in-the-background/ Just make sure that the data are received by Marketo before leaving the page.

    It would be a whole lot easier to replace the form with one made in Marketo.

    Thanks for your response!

    Having spoken to the website manager it seems that changing that form would be very difficult.

    In this case how could I keep the existing form and ensure fields within Marketo are still updated?
