Will SFDC still sync with hidden fields in Marketo?

Hi There,

I want to hide a lot of fields in our Marketo dB that were created in SFDC and sync over to Marketo. Will these fields in Marketo still sync with SFDC after they are hidden in Marketo?

Make sure you also Block Field Updates from SFDC (in the Marketo admin area). 

And within SFDC, find the profile of your sync user and hide the fields from that user.

Hi all,

based on Ryan's answer, I'm assuming that the hidden Marketo fields WILL still sync with SFDC even if they are hidden on the Marketo side and are still visible to the integration user on the SFDC side.

You assume correctly. Just hiding the field only has an impact on the Marketo UI itself, not on the Salesforce sync.
