Zapier: Marketo "New Program" trigger

Hi guys!

 

I searched first in the Zapier community with no success... does anyone know what the "New Program" trigger means in the Marketo Zapier integration?

 

There's a lead creation which makes sense, but this New Program trigger says when a new program is created which doesn't make sense... Could it be when a lead becomes a program member using the Change Program Status flow action?

Ok, so when a New Lead is created it will send the lead data to Zapier to link it to other platforms.

 

When I create a New Program in Marketo, what use cases can be used here, please? I just still don't understand how to use it.


That would alert you so you could then (for example) populate program tokens, add people to the program, etc.

Why would creating a program not make sense? That’s a thing!

Well, for me, creating a program is literally right-clicking in a folder and hitting New Program.

Yes, it's an activity that can be detected using the Asset API.
