Zoom Registration Form on Marketo LP

I do not have the go-head from upper management to integrate Zoom with our Marketo account but our team would like to build the Zoom registration page/form on a Marketo LP to control the branding aesthetics. Is this possible without integration?

Well, you're kind of asking an impossible question. You can't have Marketo form data make its way to Zoom without some kind of integration!

It doesn't have to be the packaged Zoom-Marketo connector, of course. You can build a service that registers people in Zoom using the Zoom API and call that service via a Marketo Call Webhook step. Though that's custom development of course, and presumably would need to be vetted as well.

Why don't you have permission to integrate?  Why not lean on management?  It's easy enough to do (the integration that is, not the leaning)

 

It is easy enough to do a full Marketo registration process with no Zoom form or even Zoom notification emails.  That gives you 100% control over the branding (LP, Form, and Email).

 

If that's what your after, many of us can guide you through that process, but yes it requires integration.

There is an absolutely no integration involved solution, but it will require some manual work to get your attendance data into Marketo. The way I have done it with one customer who really did not want any integration with Zoom is to simply set up a full webinar program including form and landing page in Marketo and in the confirmation email include the generic join link rather than a personalized one. Of course that means you need to download any attendance data from Zoom and manually uploading it into your Marketo program to capture the full picture there.

OK but without the join URL they have to register twice (and not necessarily with the same data). IMO you might as well use Google Meet at that point. 🙂
