Solved

Hi I'm working with date times in Velocity and struggling to get a date to display in the correct format. I have an incoming date string in the format: '2023-04-04T13:00:00Z'. So the incoming time is 1300 UTC which is 1400 BST   I'm using @sanfordwhiteman examples from here: https://blog.teknkl.com/velocity-days-and-weeks/   And wanted to get the date to display as: Tuesday 4 April 14:00 BST   But it displays as 13:00 BST instead. Here is my sample code, note the line: #set( $ISO8601DateTimeUTC = "yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss'Z'" ) is not taken from Sanford's blog which I think is the problem, as it seems it's not recognising the format at UTC and rather just a TZ unaware format. Full sample code: #set( $defaultTimeZone = $date.getTimeZone().getTimeZone("Europe/London") ) #set( $defaultLocale = $date.getLocale() ) #set( $calNow = $date.getCalendar() ) #set( $ret = $calNow.setTimeZone($defaultTimeZone) ) #set( $calConst = $field.in($calNow) ) #set( $ISO8601DateOnl

Hi Community,   We have created a transactional message event based, so they are not associated to a profile. The reason of this is because it is a welcome message and the profiles are not yet created. The problem is that we want to link profile and delivery and that happen after the profile is created, and sending the delivery (without profile), because we want to see the delivery in the sending log of the profile, do you know any way of doing it?   We have been thinking in a daily workflow that update in the delivery resource, the field that link with the profile resource, but we don't find it.   Thanks

Is there a setting somewhere that I might be missing to let me transfer ownership of reports and dashboards? We've had some roles changes and some folks who made some reports/dashboards no longer need access to those items. However, since they created the dashboards and reports they keep ownership access. Is there a way to assign a new owner? I would like to avoid cloning the reports/dashboards and getting everyone to use the revised URL.

Company has a white banner image with their logo on one side and an image on the other. Is there a way to use the banner as a background image and type text to show on top of it within the Marketo email tool?   They want to be able to add text in that banner for different sends. For ex: A Message from John Smith or A Message from HR.   They DO NOT want us to do this in Paint or Photoshop, etc, since it requires work from another department.   Example of banner: https://imgur.com/a/ZbYMl1b

Hello,   I am starting to learn about AEM headless and grapql features and I watched the video about Persisted queries. I was a bit surprised to see that this tutorial shows how to manage that feature via Postman HTTP request to AEM. This seems to be a really great feature that brings a lot of value to the solution and that is why I would like to ask whether there is an dedicated AEM console where this can be managed and published? Or maybe using Postman / curl is the only option to mange it at the moment? If that's true is there a plan to add a console for managing this to the AEM in near future?   Thanks 🙂

As soon as we upload the asset(image, doc etc) in aem dam we observed that asset uploaded in /content/dam folder gets published. Hello, I was doing some A/B Tests on the website using the Rearrange feature in Target with a 50-50% audience divide. But when I am setting up these experiences in Target they look perfect but when I check the same experiences using QA URLs they are not working. I also tried injecting a custom script through Target, which solved the problem for a while but after some time it also stopped working. The experiences look right inside the Target Edit experiences window but not on the production page. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!   Thanks!

Hi team,   I have a question what does Schema nms:activeContact stores. and how does it's schema is updated?   thanks

our website is translated into 4 different languages (english, german, french, japanese). For the most part, we run our tests on english versions of the page and I have tried to create a audience with the specifications of browser > language > equals > english. When I did that the test came up with zero traffic. However If I set up the audience as browser > language > does not equal > French, German, JapaneseI recieve usual traffic. why is this happening? and why can't I set it up as equals english?

Hello everyone, Is it possible in ACS to dynamise the email structure? e.g. in the template the basic structure has two columns one on top of the other. Can I make this basic structure dynamic so that the columns are next to each other according to the dynamic content? Is there any documentation on this?   Thank you, G.

Hello   I  need to filter people from my targeting with date of birth is between for example Aug 21 and Dec 23. I tried a query like: day of date of birth of targeting dimension greater than or equal to 23 and month of date of birth of targeting dimension greater than or equal to 8 But seems not what I want, I need to send a communication for the people when date of birth is between this two dates above. Any ideas?   Thank you

Hi All, Requesting your help regarding error message-"communication error with server- operation on a socket could not be performed because the system lacked sufficient buffer space".. screenshot shared below. What configuration should be updated in adobe servers to avoid/resolve such errors. Any related reference would also be of extreme help. Thanks in advance!

Could you please let me know the mime type for .msg asset. Outlook email ?    I see its just "audio" for audio files. Similarly I want for .msg files.

I am running into an issue where we run our OOTB mcSynchExec job for our RTEvents and BatchEvents. The error we are receiving is detailed below: soapImportRtEvent SOP-330021 Communication error with server: please make sure it is configured correctly. HTTP code 500 'HTTP connection timed out. WEB-530007 Error relaying '/nl/jsp/soaprouter.jsp' to URL 'http://localhost:8080/nl/jsp/soaprouter.jsp'.'. // soapImportRtEvent INT-150012 The HTTP query returned a 'Internal Server Error' type error (500). We checked the test connections on the marketing instance and it was successful. We checked to see if the mobile app package was installed on both the RT and MKT instance. Our connections for tomcat-8 are maxed out too, so if anyone has any suggestions to look into this please feel free to reach out!

Hello, I am trying to patch AEM 6.5 but as per document it says  Automatic installation There are two different methods that you can use to automatically install Experience Manager 6.5.14.0. Place the package into ../crx-quickstart/install folder when the server is available online. The package is automatically installed   But Nothing is happening. I stopped the Jboss service and start but no luck. Is anyone having any idea or faced similar issue.   Thank you, Sanjay

Hello All I am new to AEP world. Anyone created schema using AEPP package? If yes, could you please share the sample code snippets?  Thanks in Advance.   Regards Sheejo Rapheal

When we activate a segment, we are allowed to send only the attributes belonging to the "Individual Profile Class". However, I have a requirement in which I need to pass an evar value (coming from Adobe Analytics connector) as part of the payload to the Kinesis stream. Since AA connector has an associated "Event Class" I cannot send these values. What could be the possible workaround to this considering we cannot compromise on real-time behavior?

Hello Techies, I am making a series of calls from graphql (which is placed outside AEM, consider it as 3rd party) via Dispatcher to my publish instance likehttp://my-publish-domain/api/assets/my/content_fragment/path.json.I could get the result as json, but this response is not getting cached in dispatcher docroot.  On a deeper look i could see in dispatcher logs says like below and these json results are never cached. Backend forbids caching, sent: 'Pragma: no-cache'  Further the publish instance directly (not through dispatcher) itself give following Response header. Not sure this is causing the issue of not caching in dispatcher. My Query Can it be customised so that we can cache the .json result, because every-time when a page is refreshed always the Asset API calls reaches the origin server?
