I am trying to demonstrate basic reverse replication on AEM 6.5.10.Created a new reverse replication agent in author which works fine.Created a servlet to modify page content which changes some values as well as adds the cq:distribute  property with value true.Whenever I run the servlet and the page content get the distribute property, reverse replication works. After this If I hit the servlet again then some props change but reverse replication does not work. When I checked the logs I found that the polling is working fine and it fetched 0 files which means there is nothing in the outbox. Now here is the weird part -> If I delete the cq:distribute property from crx/de and run the servlet then reverse replication works. In short: Reverse replication works only when I add the cq:distribute property to the node. If the property already exists and I change some other property then the reverse replication does not work.

running a publisher and author instance is easy: cd /authorjava -jar aem-author-p4502.jarcd /publishjava -jar aem-publish-p4503.jar We can then login to author (http://localhost:4502):, see all our sites pages, and even publish them all. However, on our local publish instance, there is nothing. no content.  e.g. if we navigate to:  http://localhost:4503/content/ourweb-web/oursite_com/uk/en/legal.html we get 404We get that path by editing the page in the author instance, then copying the path. Presumably we have to manually configure replication agents on author/publish. I got this working long ago, but it stopped working soon after, and I dont know how to debug it. how does one setup a local publish instance to work with a local author instance? If I look on publish instance CRX editor thing, I dont see our sites under "conent":http://localhost:4503/crx/de/index.jsp Note: i installed our app on the author instance using:mvn clean i

Hi Team, I am looking for best practices tom construct the XDM for Individual profile with many custom classes which will have additional details about the individual profile. I am trying to understand which approach will be better and on which aspect:Defining custom classes and refer those classes from the Individual profile as shown in Define a Relationship Between Two Schemas Using the Schema Editor | Adobe Experience PlatformEmbed the custom classes as field groups (as we have homeAddress under Person) within the individual profile What aspects should we consider to decide when to choose which option? For example: If I go with a model following Option 1, then can I create a segment rule based on the attributes which belongs to the reference entity? Is there any restriction(s) on these 2 options?  Thanks in advance.

Want to get the param value from the referringURL. Can anybody advise me on this? We get page param value like this page.param(paramName). How do we get the "paramName" if it is present in referringurl?

Hey Marketo community,   A weird thing happened with one of our graphic designers a few weeks ago when he was editing an asset. As he was making changes, his computer froze. Then, when he went back into the asset itself when opening in the email editor, the email had reverted back to an email template one of our consultants created months ago. But, when we previewed the email, you could see the changes he had made. Essentially, the preview did not match the email editor at all.  Any idea what happened here? We ended up having to rebuild the email from scratch.

I would like to set up a generic process to retrieve specific information about a workflow via a java script node?  The specific information I would like to retrieve are :1) Workflow name2) Workflow path, for example for a technical work flow => administration/production/technical workflows/Work Flow Folder Name Is there a list of workflow variables that are automatically set which can be retrieved?

Is there a way to do an advanced search on this forum?  Specifically I want to restrict my search terms to the title/subject only.

Hi all,  I have been in the process of building out a custom email template, using a pre-made Marketo template as the base.  I am having a bit of trouble with the responsive design of one specific section (pics attached of desktop and mobile view for reference).  Ideally, I would like the section to stack and center on mobile.  I have added in a bit of media query to center align and resize on mobile, but it doesn't seem to be responding.  Does anyone know if that is even possible in Marketo?

We created our language copy by basically copying the English version and making it a Spanish version. We can't scrap what we've done because the pages and their content have already be translated. Is there a way to convert what we have into a language copy of the English version? Its over 100 pages per language and there's 4 translated non-English languages. This is on 6.5.7 hosted with Adobe.

There is a rule, that is set up properly to exclude actions for URLs, that contain mysubstring. This rule works fine - it doesn't run a javascript code if the URL contains a mysubstring substring. However, I need to make an exclusion from that rule, if the URLs additionally contain myspecialsubstring substring. As result, I need to modify Right Operand input (its current value is simply mysubstring ) with something new. What should I put into that field (probably regexp value) ?  Thank you. P.S. This page https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/data-workbench/using/dataset/c-reg-exp.html?lang=en# didn't help me too much.

I have turned off all notifications in the My Settings>Notifications tab but my agent is still receiving the overdue notices. Is it possible to turn these off?

I have a task to create a custom icon-picker. As you may know, AEM already has a prebuilt generic list of icons and icons fonts. In my case, I would like to generate a fresh list of icons without making use of the ones AEM provides, as this is what I am required to do. basically I understand one needs to do this and define a datasource:<icon xmlns:jcr="http://www.jcp.org/jcr/1.0" xmlns:sling="http://sling.apache.org/jcr/sling/1.0" xmlns:nt="http://www.jcp.org/jcr/nt/1.0" jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured" fieldLabel="Icon" name="./icon" sling:resourceType="acs-commons/components/authoring/graphiciconselect"> <datasource jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured" path="/etc/acs-commons/lists/font-awesome-icons" sling:resourceType="acs-commons/components/utilities/genericlist/datasource"/> </icon>In the case above we are using AEM genericlist datasource. Now I would like to create my ow

Hi all, is the superball menu gone or it's my firefox issue? When I log into Marketo, the superball menu doesn't appear in the interface anymore.... does anyone know why? thank you!

Hi Community,is there a workaround to preload the services a recepient has subscribed to within a web application? I can only access the nms:recepient-table and can't refer to the subscribed services within the following page.Best regardsNiels

Hello, Looking for some advice/experience on using CDN proxy to workaround the ITP issue (since using CNAME first party cookie is also capped at 7 days now). Currently we are not using CNAME, and a CDN proxy is configured to map metrics.example.com to example.sc.omtrdc.net, AA server calls sent through metrics.example.com works fine but the ITP impact is still exists as the expiry of the cookies are 7 days. After some research, it seems the first party cookie s_ecid should be in the picture so that the CDN proxy can hide it from ITP and keep its expiry at 2 years. So the question is - how to enable the s_ecid cookie? Thanks,John

In the screen shot attached you can see in Workload Balancer that there are a couple tasks that are distributing work on days off. Why and how do I fix things so the task isn't allocating on days off? I confirmed that project settings ask to consider user time off.

Hi all,What is the relationship between AEM and AEP?Appreciate your responses.Thanks,Rama.

How can I remove dc:description from all the assets? I tried with metadata import by emptying the description column, but it isn't working.

As SMBv1 is highly vulnerable for attacks, we need to disable this from our servers but our adobe marketing environment lies on these servers [where SMBv1 is going to be disabled]. Are there any possible affects on adobe servers [web and app] once SMBv1 will be disabled ?? Any related information will also be very helpful. Thanks in advance!
