Adobe Campaign Classic by default sends to the recipient table email address.  If you created another table with an email address in there, can you have ACC send from this field instead of the default recipient email address?

Hello,  I am wondering what is the best practice for categorizing or tagging assets in Adobe Experience Manager by the channel they are going to be used in? I have thousands of assets in my organization, I would like to tag them at "print ready assets", "ecommerce assets", "email assets", "direct mail assets" etc... Then I have a separate process where I will call the AEM API to retrieve an asset by category.  This way if I am doing print production I can grab only those assets that are related to print production. thanks Mario

I am trying to make a visit-based segment within Adobe Analytics that will exclude data only from a certain set of pages, without affecting numbers for other pages visited within that same session. However, I am not certain current segment logic supports this. I am using sequential segments containing hits to try and accomplish this. Below is my current segment:Any ideas on what I can do to accomplish this?

Hi, My client have both GA and AA, they complain that the number of paid search varies a lot.I look at our AA configuration.I see other people config the "Paid Search" using processing rule but I config my "paid search" from Admin -> Report Suite -> Paid Search Detection. You can find from following screenshot that paid search url is not counted as an available instance. Can anyone help?

Hi everyone,i have noticed that two AA server calls are getting generated on my site, out of this two server calls, 1st is getting through and 2nd is getting failed, can someone have look on below screenshot,

Is this possible? If so, how do I set up the filter. Prefer not to prompt for username, I want this to be as idiot proof as possible.

What is best practice here? I have to report pageviews to LinkedIn, Facebook, MediaIQ, Adobe Analytics, etc. Do I use 1 "Global: Page Views" rule with all the vendors in the action section? or Separate rules for each, like Facebook: Page Views, LinkedIn: Page Views, etc? I would think 1 rule firing them all is more efficient but if I have to change one, like linked in, I'd have to republish it for all.

The most annoying thing in Site Cat besides the terribly slow reporting, is knowing the exact report you want and having to wait multiple times with each page refresh as you change the segment, date range, and metrics. Ideally, you should be able to specify all the parameters you want, hit the run report button and then get the report. For novice users it may be useful to have the page refresh after each action but for someone that is in Site Cat everyday this becomes frustrating especially when someone asks you a question that is time sensitive. Is there a setting to change this in Site Catalyst? If not it would be great if Adobe built this functionality. Does anyone else feel my pain?

I need to segment data to confirm invalid data.Conditions are as follows.1）eventA = eventB + eventCWhen eventB or eventC occurs, eventA is also occurs. And then propA has eventID.I would like to segment propA data when previous condition doesn't work.I confirmed invalid data like this.eventA occured, but eventB or eventC didn't occur. How sholud I set the segment function?

Hi,In our e-commerce domain, we have implemented two web analytic tools: Google Analytics and Omniture. But we are encountering a strange problem in Adobe's Dynamic Tag Management (DTM). We have not integrated GA through DTM and GA has been implemented traditionally without any tag management solutions. But Omniture has been implemented using DTM.When we are looking into GA's reporting console, we see revenue data coming in (related to transactions on our site). But nowhere on the pagecode we have 'addTrans' function written (which is GA's function to implement e-commerce transaction). When we drilled down further, we saw this 'addTrans' function in Adobe DTM's .js file. Here is snippet of that code (in DTM's .js):`this.call("addTrans",t,n,[r.orderID,r.affiliation,r.total,r.tax,r.shipping,r.city,r.state,r.country])`Also, please see the attached screen shot for this.Along with this, we also have other GA related functions mentioned in this DTM's .js file. For eg: `_gaq.push`.We are reall

evar2 is internal search report. Event1 captures search terms and event2 captures null searches. But some of the success searches appear in the null report. Anyone knows how this happens? Thanks,

In Report Builder 5.0, previously applied segments are disappearing from data blocks. If I open the manager on a workbook that should have segments applied, the manager shows that there are no segments applied. After reapplying the segments, saving the workbook and closing, the next time I open that workbook the segments will have once again disappeared from the data blocks. Is anyone else having issues with this? Also, sporadically (in RB) when trying to apply a segment, all of my segments will be missing from the drop down. This seems to be fixed by logging out and logging back in multiple times but is obviously not the ideal way to solve this issue. Is any one having these same issues or have any insight on how to fix them?

Prior to the big release, when a non-admin users created a Scheduled Send on a Shared Dashboard, the Scheduled Send showed up in the non-admin users Scheduled Reports.  After the big release, that Scheduled send no longer shows up in the non-admin login that created the send but in the admin login that created the Shared Dashboard.  So now instead of 40 different non-admin users updating their Scheduled Send in their login, one admin has to update all 40 Scheduled Sends per Shared Dashboard.  Was this an intended change or was this loss of functionality just a casualty of the change in the Scheduled Reports that came with the big release that no one realized would happen.  Has anyone else noticed this change?

Hello there,I hope you can help me out here. I want to show my customer where the visitors of his website drop out. Since my customer is active in three different countries it would be great if I could compare the three different dropout-funnels to one another. All three countries are tracked in same report-suite so there is no way to compare the funnels via report-suite-comparison. Any ideas or suggestions how to get this comparison to work for each country?Thank you so much for your help! GreetingsMax

Just wondering if anyone knows how to run a click-map report for multiple selected pages.  I can only see the option to run a clickmap report for the "Entire Site", or select one specific page from the list of pages on the site.I my situation, I have multiple pages on the site that have the same hyperlink in the same location on the page, so I am trying to gauge the volume of clicks on this particular link across all of the 15 pages that contain it.  Right now, I have to run 15 separate reports to get this data.Any information that anyone has is greatly appreciated!

Purpose of reporting: To see the success rate of password resets for users who have a compromised accounts.propX captures the error message: in this case “Compromised Account”s.pagename: “Id-and-captcha” is the 1st page to initiate a password resets.pagename: “reset successful” is the final page that lets them know they have reset their passwordIf I create a segment as this: Visit Container, s.propX equals Compromised AccountTo get to the report I am trying to run; can I run a pages report and see how many visits within this segment hit the "reset successful" page?considering s.propX - does not persist? is there a fault in the logic? thanks in advanceAsif

Hi,Our client wants to record visit ID in an eVar and we were looking for some kind of solution. Is there any way to do this with dynamic variables? And if not, maybe the concatenation of Visitor ID + Visit Number would work (also through dynamic variables). We would really appreciate some help on that. Thanks!

Hi,I'm seeing a discrepancy with "visits" to a particular page between a trend report and a fallout report.Reporting on specific page visits by trend broken down by day totaling over 2 months gives me 37,135 visits. With fallout report, this same page is at the bottom of the funnel and over the same reporting period I'm seeing 38,461 visits.Anyone else see this discrepancy?Cheers,Ed

We are getting the below exception continuously more than 9 hours in logs as part of this functionality.  Functionality : Copying all pages from one country(UnitedStates) to another country(England) and adjusting references for all the pages using referencesearch API. We are passing single same resourceresolver to all method in this functionality to commit after write/modify operation. Using sling jobs in this functionality to make job execution as ordered. Observations:Initially error is thrown at /content/test/brand1/testpage/home/jcr:content/par/richtext/item1 for 2 hours. Later I deleted home page to stop this error and same error is thrown at /content/test/brand1/testpage for more than 6 hours. Question :I know this error might be multiple update on same node by different thread. In our code, this exception was catched in respective method and just log it for reference to proceed further(not throwing custom exception). But I don't know

Hello, currently our project is compatible with AEM 6.5.3 on premise, and we use java 8 to run AEM and build our project. We would like to check the possibilities of adapting the project for use in Adobe Experience Cloud. I've started by reading documentation and I have a doubt: 1. On the one hand Cloud Manager uses jdk 8 build environment: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-cloud-manager/using/getting-started/create-an-application-project.html#build-environment-details2. On the other hand local AEM runtime uses jdk 11: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-learn/cloud-service/local-development-environment-set-up/aem-runtime.html I'm not sure how to interpret this fragments. Is java 11 required for running AEM SDK locally? Is it required to build project dedicated for Adobe Experience Cloud with java 11?If I build my project with java 11 will it be compatible with Cloud Manager? Any advice is appreciated

Hi all, We are trying to do analysis on AEM System Monitoring Metrics and wanted to generate Alerts (like Email Notifications). Wanted to collate Optimal threshold value (WARN LEVEL and CRITICAL LEVEL) of each of these MBean Metrics. Meaning if the current value of MBean goes above OPTIMAL THRESHOLD value then email alert will be sent. Refer this page : https://cqdump.wordpress.com/category/tipstricks/And in OSGI here we get all System Statshttp://localhost:4502/system/console/jmx/org.apache.jackrabbit.oak%3Aname%3DOak+Repository+Statistics%2Ctype%3DRepositoryStats Wanted to know if there is any documentation of what should be the RECOMMENDED OPTIMAL .values for each of these MBean.
