Our company is looking to build a messaging engine to send customers SMS, Email, Push (non-campaigns), but would like to use Twillio/Sendgrid as the send partner and Adobe as the Template Manager. The normal marketing campaigns would still be managed and initiated in Adobe - but sends of messages is via Sendgrid/twillio.Does anyone have any experience with this?  or even opinion?? Can the SubmitNotification function trigger a send without referencing a template? i.e. can you force   Html into the delivery target?  -- this would be helpful to make the messaging engine send its own non-templated messages. lastly are the templates (authored in Adobe)  accessible via API ( much like the way Sendgrid stores their templates) Any information would be really helpful!Cheers

I have a page with the following path /content-test/order/image-content-service.html, which is published in all my environments. When I try getting the JSON model of it /content-test/order/image-content-service.model.json, it returns JSON in some environments. In other environments, it just returns the same page.I am wondering if there is some environment setting that enables JSON delivery. Can anybody help? Thanks,Leo

Hi All,We have enabled https 8443 port on both Author and Publish instances but while creating certificates we have mentioned 365 days now it got expired so we need to renew it. Hi ,I am working on implementing the AEM calendar component in 6.3 overlaying the OOTB communities Calendar. I have followed exactly as per the documentation . When am trying to load the page with the custom Calendar added, SCF is undefined and thereby model registration, events binding are failing. I included cq.social.scf in global clientlib level as well as component clientlib. Still, the error is coming. Also copied scf.js from /etc/clientlibs/social/commons/scf and pasted under /apps/myproject/components/content/test/calendarTest/clientlibs/js/scf.js. Then am getting error in model.PFB screenshotguide.js:2246 Uncaught ReferenceError: SCF is not defined    at guide.js:2246(anonymous) @ guide.js:2246clientlibs.js:3841 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'Model' of undefined    at clientlibs.js:3841    at clientlibs.js:3851(anonymous) @ clientlibs.js:3841(anonymous) @ clientlibs.js:3851clientlib-components.js:1056 Uncaught TypeError:

When I share email tests with a group, I often send the sample to myself and then attach that sample email to an internal email that can get passed around for approval. I recently got the following response from a co-worker:It’s important to send actual emails rather than attachments because they function differently. Some things may be an issue in an actual email that you can’t see in an attachment, and vice versa. I’d recommend always sending the test emails, not test attachments.I'd appreciate any thoughts or feedback from the Community on this either being the case or not being the case. With the groups of internals involved with each email being different most times, I'd prefer to keep it simple and send the sample to me each time. Thanks!

Hi,We are wondering if we could do a server side integration between Audience Manager and Krux or Lotame?  Is that something we can do in AAM?Thanks

Hello! I've come accross two concepts: web personalization and dynamic content. Which is the difference between both of them? Do they apply to different type of assets? I understand that for using both segmentation is essential, however, can the same segmentation rules apply to both of them? Thank you very much!

Hi All,I'm using an sql2 query to fetch all the home pages from different locales based on sling:resourceType and my query is below. I'm using system user to get the resolver. FYI.SELECT * FROM [cq:Page] AS s WHERE s.[jcr:content/sling:resourceType] = 'sample/components/structure/pageHome' AND ISDESCENDANTNODE('/content/sample')The above query is working fine in my local . But in Development environment I'm unable to fetch the home pages using this query from backend, whereas the same query I tried with crx/de query search where I'm able to fetch the homepages.  I tried the below things but no luck,Checked the system user permissions in user admin (which I used to get the resolver) and I'm having read, modify, delete, readACL, editACL for all .Checked the backend logs. After executing the above query from backend I'm getting zero results. So, suspecting it should be permission issue. Can anyone help me to fix this?Arun Patidar smacdonald2008 Ratna KumarRegards,Vijay

We have implemented target 2.x and have made small change in VEC to show simple text. Yet When we go on either activity QA or once live activity on URL, we don't see the changes done. We have tried to check with if the Activity is shown in Debugger for finding any information, yet we don't get even the Activity Listed under Matched/Excluded list.Due to Constraints , We can't provide URL. But would appreciate if you all can share any thing to fix this from your experience while doing the same or if you can provide what needs to be done differently than normal app on debugger to find any solution.

Hi Team,As suggested in the documentation link (Adobe Experience Manager Help | Developing a custom Adobe Experience Manager Quiz Component )  ResourceResolverFactory functions are used to create the End user quiz page. As per my understanding to repliacte the quiz component on the publish instance quiz config page also needs to be published, If yes then how could we make the quiz config page unavailable the end users.with regards,Richa Chaubey

Hi there,I've been informed of the option of using Adobe Audience trackers in Campaign emails for additional tracking possibilities. I don't have access to Campaign, but I imagine this tool must have its own tracking systems and putting AAM inside mails sent from Campaign would be simply redundant? Or maybe the idea is to remove the lag between the tools? Please help me understand whats the merit of using AAM trackers in Campaign, if there's any.Cheers,

We are in process of migrating from AEM 6.2 to AEM 6.5. Upon migrating, I purposefully left out the tags package from our 6.2 environment, as I have read about the tag location being moved from etc/tags to content/cq:tags, and decided to rebuild the tags manually under content/cq:tags.After our content import, I manually built the tags and noticed that our list components using advanced search / Querybuilder predicate notation, were not populating the page lists. This lead me to investigate further by running a querybuilder search using localhost:4502/bin/querybuilder.json. In doing so, I found that our production (6.2) environment displayed the appropriate results, while our dev (6.5) environment showed no results.I then added a tag that I manually created, to a random page in the 6.5. The page populated in my search results, leading me to another path. I then checked crxde and noticed that none of our pages that were tagged in the 6.2 environment have tags in them that are plainly vi

Hi everyone,I'm building our connection to the API as we're just rolling out Marketo. I had a question about how to handle the token validation. Is the best practice to:- hit the identity endpoint and check for a valid token each time?- hit the identity endpoint, save when I hit it into a variable, and check if it's been an hour before every call?- just look for a 601/602 error and if one gets returned, get a new token and try again? Also, is the validity of the token only checked when my request comes in? As in, if I send a request with 1 second left and it takes 2 seconds, will my request complete successfully? Thanks!

I am trying to run a report to see many times someone has clicked on the buttons on my sharepoint home screen. The purpose is to figure out which item is the most popular and which is the least popular so I can update the content to be more relevant. I obviously don't want to remove a button which people are clicking on.Anyone know how to do this in Adobe Analytics?ThanksKrystal

I'm attempting to implement a function that sets all active activity names into a cookie value. After toggling on all Activity Response Tokens in setup, I'm following the basic instruction here to debug:  Response tokens.  These instructions contain this simple script, and state that will work if added to Library Footer:document.addEventListener(adobe.target.event.REQUEST_SUCCEEDED, function(e) { console.log("Request succeeded", e.detail); }); I also have one activity running to help debug, that contains:console.log('in Activity!');That correctly outputs to console when I view the site. However, there is no response from the Library Footer code.  In addition, just adding the following to either Footer or Header Library code also outputs nothing.console.log('Library Footer')console.log('in Activity!');It is as if the Library Footer/Header code is not being injected...Install Information:Target is currently being added via Launch (development environment).  I'm able to toggle to developme

Hello All,I am facing a weird issue for a simple scenario. I am trying to add a new component I created (component1) under "/apps/settings/wcm/designs/myproject/jcr:content/mytemplate/contentArea" On the 'contentArea' node I have added a property "components" and value to be the path of the component. Another property is "sling:resourceType" and value "foundation/components/parsys".Regardless of this, when I create a page and try to check the parsys, I am unable to see the component available. What can i be missing? When I try to add the component via design mode. The component is added under "/libs/settings/wcm/designs/default/jcr:content/mytemplate/contentArea"Also, the error logs shows following, not sure if its directly relevant.07.10.2019 12:58:24.494 *ERROR* [0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1 [1570467504387] GET /mnt/overlay/wcm/core/content/sites/jcr:content/views/column.0.40.html/content/myproject/en HTTP/1.1] com.day.cq.wcm.core.impl.designer.DesignerImpl No design at /apps/settings/wcm/designs/

Good day everyone,Could you, please, help me to sort out the situation. We have a few websites (one - for the company in general, others - one for each product). It's important to track the websites of the products separately (as they differ in audience, structure, cost of the contract, etc - so we should see the data for analytics separately). Is it possible to do this without workspaces and partitions? As this module is not included in our contract. If yes, what should I do with munchkin code for it to track this info and divide it for the reports&analytics? Thanks in advance
