Solved

Hi,I'm new to Omniture Site Catalyst and I am wondering how I would create a Time of Day Report. For instance. I manage the Bing Paid search for my company and Bing gives the Time of Day data on conversions, but only goes back 6 months. I am looking to generate a report in Omniture for Time of Day (Hours 0-23) from 1/1/2014 to Today for conversions based on Adgroups or products. I know each account is setup differently, so I just need to know where I can go to create a custom report and select Time of day for the Metric with Product/Adgroup for the Breakdown. Is there anyway someone can help with this? Thanks, Ivan

Hi, Russ!In continue of our dialogue in twitter writing you here. Please tell me what exactly do I need to set up in Site Catalyst if I want to track conversions made after looking at digital ad with no click on itFor example logic is "Users visits my site" - "User browses through goods sold on it" - "User leaves for good" - "User sees my display ad" - "User returns to my site with a search engine" - "User makes a purchase" if a purchase was made in a 48 hours after he looked on ad I attribute a sale to my ad provider. Thanks in advance!

I'm wondering if it is possible to convert engagement metrics such such as bounce rate to a conversion goal (eVar)?  My team wants to use eVar with an existing solution we have in place, and want to know if this is a possibility, and/or if there are any limitations or caveats we should be aware of?Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi! In our Adobe Analytics' settings the IP range of the whole company is excluded, in order not to inflate the numbers in the reports. Is there any way for me to circumvent this exclusion, so I can see my behavior in Analytics reports? Maybe there is some tool? Where does Analytics get the information about my IP adress? Thanks in advance!

Hi,I tried to sign in on ReportBuilder, but it constantly prompts a message saying "Login was unsuccessful, username/password is incorrect". I've double checked my credentials and I'm sure that it's correct. Is ReportBuilder down for some reason? I know that Marketing Reports & Analytics - Reporting has an incident report, so I'm thinking if ReportBuilder is impacted? Please advise. Thanks,Jine

Hi,I have a Entry Page - Search Engine report (Entry Pages broken down by Search Engines-All)Output looks like this, metric is VisitsPageName                    4,000    Unspecified                2,500    Google                        1,000    Yahoo                           300I can filter out the row Unspecified, but the Total for PageName still includes the total for Unspecified.  What I want isPageName                   1,500    Google                        1,000    Yahoo                           300How do I do that?  I may be going at this all wrong...Thanks,Kathryn

I'm putting together a report in report builder looking at 4 of my production suites. I already have a dashboard with this information created and am simply looking to import the data from these. Note that the data/segments etc are identical to each other for each of these marketplaces. When I import the data from production suite 1, it works perfectly and I can maneuver the data as needed. However when trying to import the dashbaord data for any of the 3 remaining production suites, I receive an error "unrecognized metric" and I'm unable to import the data.Any idea what could be happening here? Thanks,

Hi,Anyone successfully done the Demandbase - Sitecatalyst integration using Data connectors.?. Getting around 30% line item as "None" in the DB(DemandBase) report. Is that none percentage is normal when we use Data connectors? And, when we go with Custom JS Demandbase solution by not using Data connectors then the none% is pretty low. Anyone faced this issue earlier or any recommendation to fix this. Thanks in Advance.

Hello -  I'd like put the country value (Adobe Dimensions > Visitor Profile > Geosegmentation > Countries) in a prop and/or eVar so I can classify it into our custom geographic hierarchy.  I've tried doing this via processing rule, but Country is not available.  Is this something easy I can hand off to our DTM expert?  At first glance, it doesn't look easy to do there either.  I've explored the option of using segments and the new Analysis Workspace, but our end users don't have access to the Analysis Workspace (yet) and segments are awfully manual for this use case... but will be used as a last resort if nothing else is available. Thanks, Kerri

I'm trying to get the internal referring page name or page path into an eVar via processing rules but haven't had any luck so I was hoping someone here might have come up with a clever solution for this. For example, if the referring page is www.mysite.com/results?color=black&price=20-30 and the page name for that page is Search Results I'd like to populate an eVar, via processing rules so i don't need to get IT involved, with either www.mysite.com/results or Search Results. I tried creating a processing rule using referring domain but that only gives me www.mysite.com and I can't find an option for referring path. Is there a creative way around this or do i need to get the IT team to implement this? Thanks for any help.

Hi,Is there an estimated time when these tools (Reportbuilder, Ad Hoc Analysis) will be fixed? Thanks,Jine

what is the best way to calculate the average clicks to the first interaction of a particular page? We want to understand how many clicks it takes visitors on average to get to page A and optimize the site experience to reduce the number of clicks it takes to get to page A regardless of where they are on the site.  Thanks

Hi, is Adobe Analytics down or is it just me? I cannot login. Is there any page where I can see its status?

The new load of analytics seems to have removed the 'wrench' in the upper right corner when I use the 'i' to look at the segment definition. I used to be able to click the wrench and the segment editor would open, I could edit the segment and then when I saved it the report would re-run with the updated segment. Now the wrench is gone and I have to jump through hoops to go to the segment manager, find the segment, edit it, re-open analytics, wait for the menus to populate, re-create my report, re-apply the segment and see if my change worked. taking a 1 minute process and making it 5-10 minutes in length.  Am I missing something. there isn't anything in the release notes I saw about this capability being changed. I am an admin so should be able to do anything without needing to setup special access (and if there is special access what is it I need to do to get it back?)

Hi,My company uses an external booking site to manage event bookings. Previously this has meant it has been impossible for us to monitor full users journey's across our site / the booking site using CampIDs. Recently we added our page tags to the funnel of the booking site (which are linked to directly from our site) - so we can see traffic information through the funnel in our report suite. However, Campaign IDs still appear to not persist from one site to the other. So we still cannot track channel activity across both sites - which was the purpose of the exercise.Has anyone done anything similar to this before, or know how to get CampIDs to persist from a 1st party domain to a 3rd party domain?Any information would be hugely helpful.ThanksTobz

The Adobe Admin UI is a real mess which means that many clients are wasting tens of admin hours a month doing what should be simple, quick and easy tasks.Aspects of the UI and back-end are perhaps >10 years' old and not for for purpose.  Some actually weren't fit on day 1, and that was acceptable a decade ago but not today. This makes certain admin tasks uneconomic to undertake when they should take circa 15 mins.Such issues harm the [admin] user experience of Adobe Analytics, which in turn makes it harder to justify the product over Google Analytics. Adobe, are there any plans to make Admin slightly fit for purpose or ideally properly fit for purpose? For example my client has 100+ report suites, from two merged client accounts with some going back 7+ years’.  Here are some of admin issues that we face:ClassificationsThe back-end gets out of sync if Classifications are added / removedSo even if the UI looks ok, you can get lots of errors when you want to update multiple RSs at the s

Hi, we are seeing a sudden spike in our direct traffic. It has inflated by nearly 100%, plus this extra traffic is not having any attributed associated with it and everything is falling into none. This has increased our overall visit count, but the page views are consistent, indicating these are link calls which are setting a separate cookie other than the regular cookie. We cant see any extra hit on the browser debuggers. Is there any way to filter out the cause of these hits?Sanmeet

I am able to get Report Builder to sum the total unique visitors across two pages but not the total count of unique visitors across the two pages. It double counts the same visitor to both pages unlike SiteCatalyst's total. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for your help.BK

We have added adobe cluster engagementCluster to evar52. But i am not sure how will i test it in the browser. It doesn't show up in adobe cloud debugger or in omnibug. Any help is appreciated.

I would like to construct a fallout report for others to consume.  In the past, I've relied on Report Builder for building/scheduling reports for others.Report Builder 5.0 enabled fallout reports, but it reports on page views and not visits...so that won't work.Reports & Analytics dashboarding doesn't permit fallout reports. What are my options rather than manually building the fallout report in Reports & Analytics?

Is it possible to look at the full path in which an order was placed (rather than showing the visit).  I have already created a segment to show only those that have an order greater than zero but I would like orders to be my metric on the path report, is that possible? Thanks - Tyler

Hi,I'm currently working on an implementation update and working through a new SDR  and deciding where to use sProps and where to use eVars.I wondered if anyone can find a reason (other than for pathing) why it would be preferable to use an sProp over an eVar set to expire on hit. My logic being that an a hit expiring eVar will provide all of the same traffic metrics (Page views, visits, uniques), plus additional on page success events i.e. PDF Downloads, Button clicks etc and more break down options.ThanksToby

Hi all,I want to build a saint for specific ranges. For example if the data is between 100 and 200 saint data should be "100-200", and "200-300" for the data between 200 and 300 etc...I tried to use  classification rule builder ( a{100-200} ) but couldn't make it. Is there a way to manage it?Thanks

Hello All,How to determine if the cookie set by Omniture (Adobe Analytic) is First Party cookie or Third Party cookie for your web site? Regards

Hello All,If I open my web application in two different tabs and execute it. I fire success events from both the tabs. Some of my success events are serialized (i.e. I am recording once for the Visit). Will the same event that gets fired from both the tabs be counted as 1 OR 2?In short, will SiteCatalyst consider the two different instances of application as single visit or multiple visit? Also, my application does not require login. Please advise.Regards
