Hi,I'm currently assisting in the set up of a new report suite and have noticed that by default several metrics i.e. cart additions, checkouts etc, are automatically added to reports i.e. the pages report. Many of these metrics are not relevant to the site we're reporting on/not collecting any data, and are likely to confuse end users. I want to know if there is a simple way to hide Standard metrics from out of the box reports.ThanksTobz

Still very new to this CTR thing... can someone tell me if 0.304% is a good CTR?  Please and thank you!!

Hi - let me set up the scenario:  We have a process on our site which allows a user to price an item (not unlike getting a quote for an item).  We have a "price confirmation" event that shows that the user viewed the price.  The user has the ability to save this price and retrieve it later.  There is a unique id assigned when the user views a price, so that the user can come back later and retrieve the originally generated price.  The unique id (transaction id) is stored in an eVar, and when we run the eVar report, ideally we'd like to see one price confirmation event per transaction id.   If the user agrees to the price, they can come back later and purchase the item, which at that time a purchase id is assigned along with a purchase confirmation event (we aren't using any of the ecommerce vars for this). The issue I'm running into is when a user returns and retrieves the original price transaction, the price confirmation event is fired again and I'm getting a few pricing transaction I

Hello,I inherited a website that uses omniture and siteCatalyst but I cannot seem to get any credentials to log into the existing omniture account associated with the site.  I was just wondering what the steps are to transition all of the sites tags and reports from the pervious omniture account to a new account that I have access to?I hope that makes sense, if its not obvious I do not know much about omniture.thanks

Now that calculated metrics are "share-able" If I have segment built into a calculated metric and share with co-worker A.  However, co-worker A does not have the segment shared with them. Does the calculated metric still work for co-worker A?

Hi All,I'd like to generate a page-level CVR report in Site Catalyst 15 (Reports and Analytic). Any help outlining a process (i.e. where to start, etc.) would be greatly appreciated. Regards,Ilya

In our custom conversion coupon code report it's populating 99% of unique visitors as "none" is anyone else experiencing this problem? If not, how could I fix this issue. Thanks a bunch,Chris

Hi,I have encountered this problem for a long time. when trying to sign into Report Builder, I got this error message:"The user Login process was unsuccessful, an invalid company was specified."The basic information have all been checked, and I have send the issue to Adobe ClientCare also. However, the problem is still not solved. The detailed information was that the English Desktop can login successfully in our company network, but Chinese Desktop can't. My Desktop Operation is Chinese Win7.My IT team investigated it and came to a conclusion that when Chinese Desktop login, the Report Builder send a request which is an IP URL like https://66.235.132.65/*, but when English Desktop login, the Report Builder send a request which is a domain URL like https://*.adobe.com/*. So the IP request is blocked by our inside network, and can not send the login information.Does anybody know this? Is it a BUG of adobe?

Hi, I am new to Adobe Analytics. With so many metrics and terminologies in web analytics, is there a data dictionary or definitions booklet? E.g. Visits, UVs, Bounce Rate and how each calculations work. A more detailed of this kind would be preferred, if not simple would be fine. Thanks

I created a report with the intention to show the numbers each day for the entire month and it only displays June 1st through June 11th. What is the problem?Thank you.

I have a website https://junglemagic.in. It's design has been changed as per the SEO, but after 6 month the Page Rank drop. I had checked the Google penalties also but it doesn't shows any penalties. How can i improve my rank. How Adobe Analytic is different from Google Analytic?

Hi there, since we use so many report suites for our different products which though have often very similar, if not identical, variables and settings, and we use segmentation a lot, sometimes users create segments with definitions that already exist in another report suite. Because the numbers of segments grows constantly, and sometimes changes have to be undertaken that affect one segment and thus we have to change them all separatly, is there a way to unify similar segments? Since I cannot just delete one existing segment, because it is in use in many different reports and this would corrupt them. But if I would be able to unify them all, I'd have an overview and could modify them much more easily. Thanks for your attention/help.

Hi all, I'm urgently looking for an efficient solution how to generate an overview how much page views each page in a specific area collected for a certain country. So for example, the number of page views for all articles in a half year on our portal from Poland. Does someone know how I can create a dashboard/report which let me see this in one overview? Instead of having to look up the number of page views per article per country.Hopefully you can help me out, thanks in advance!Kind regards,Patrick Stigt

Is anyone else having ReportBuilder issues? It's taking a very long time to refresh, and it eventually fails.

Hi,I have a question about the 'Then' function when creating a segment. If I create a segment like this:page = homepage then after 1 page viewpage = product pageDoes this mean that I am looking for user who saw the home page, then saw any other page and then saw a product page? What if a user views the home page, then an info page followed by a help page and then a product page, will they be included in the segment? Thanks,Frank

Hi all,I've recently started working with a client that has approximately 30 different mobile apps in market. Instead of having different reporting suites and Mobile Services Apps for each app, they created one reporting suite and one "App" for all of their mobile app traffic. I am of the opinion that each should be tracked separately, but the customer doesn't want me to lose the reporting views that they have gotten used to. How can I transition them into seeing each app separately within Mobile Services without eliminating their current data views? Thanks,SDB

I need to export a list of all our Report Suites with their Titles. I just need this data and not all the set up for each Report Suite.

Hi there,I have a problem interpretating my report in Omniture properly. In the category "Search Keywords - All/paid/natural" Omniture gives me two variables I don´t know what to do with.* keyword unavailable  -     (about 24% of my keawords - This must have something to do with Googles Search Encryption but can I do something against this?)* Unspecified -     (this makes up almost 74% of my keywords. What is this about? I found this article but I´m afraid it doesn´t suit my problem: https://helpx.adobe.com/analytics/kb/none-unspecified-and-unknown.html) As you can see. Only about 2% of my keywords are interpretable. Is there something to do against this? Also under the main category "Site Content" I have the sub category "Article/Video Title" on my page. In my report the biggest share of visited pages on my site (again 75%) accounts for a variable named "not_set" and I don´t know what to do with this variable since it makes any analyses non sense.Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your he

Hi!I'm trying to build a segment, that includes visitors that has had an instance of an event 1 month prior to the present. I want to use the segment in target for re-targeting among other things. I other words, I want to build a rolling segment. The best way I've been able to come up with, is setting events for this particular purpose, that have an expiration of 1 month (in this case), but this wouldn't give us the flexibility we require and it would also require re-tagging. Can anyone tell me how to do this?Thank you!Kind regards,Martin Vinter

Hi all!We use participation metrics to evaluate a page, or groups/types of pages, and whether they are contributing to conversions, like 'request pricing', 'document downloads', etc. When we run reports in the GUI, you will always get, at the bottom of the report, tons of other page with zero visits and zero page views, but will have values for one or more of the participate metrics..I assume....the eVar holding the page name is set to expire on the visit, so I am not sure what is happening, but that is easy to filter out.BUT, when we run page reports in Data Warehouse, we have two issues:If we have more than 2-3 participate metrics, the number of lines in the report MASSIVELY balloons...so a site with approx. 50,000 total pages including parts calalogs etc. winds up exporting files that have over 10 million lines...which is kinda difficult to handle   :-[   And, it will only sort ascending, so I can't limit the # of lines in the report...We've tried various segments with logic like 'pa

What is the measurement unit for the average session length (mobile)?

Hello All,I've created a new dashboard for one of my report suite and tried to share the dashboard with the business users. We have nearly 200+ users in our account and I took some time to find the user. So I would like to suggest to have the user search functionality (like in the user module) on the Dashboard sharing page.I hope it is necessary to have. Dear Folks, please share your thoughts on this.

I'm trying to make a complete track my web because within it I'm riding an online poker product sales.Which method is the one I use to control data as the percentage of conversion?Thank You.

I have a question regarding the Return Frequency Report.  It automatically lists out Page Views, Visits and Unique Visitors.  The first report I pulled was the Pages Reports and edited the Metrics to include Page Views, Visits and Unique Visitors.  I haven't used the Return Frequency Report for delivering any reports before so I'd like to make sure I have answers before passing it along to my colleagues.  Between the Return Frequency Report and the Pages Report, which both provide the same Metrics for the same time range, the Page Views and Unique Visitors are equal.  Although, the number of visits are differing.  In the Pages Report they are 1,072 and the Return Frequency Report only 871.  What would be the reason for this when the Page Views and Unique Visitors are adding up?Thanks!
