Hello Experts, We are currently using AEM 6.5.8 and planning to install 6.5.21 latest service pack. Do we have any Adobe recommended handbook/checklist that tells us steps to be performed before Service pack upgrade? OR Can someone suggest steps/actions to be in taken into consideration before upgrading service pack? Regards,KTNR

Hi everyone! Had a quick question I was hoping someone could answer. For a trigger campaign, I have a smart list that pulls users in from a campaign that has been running for a few weeks, along with the trigger of email is delivered. I'm wondering if when I activate the trigger, if it will pull users who are currently in the smart list, and who have previously had the email delivered, or only when the email is delivered after the point in time that I activate the trigger. Thanks!

When going throgh Marketo Foundation Training last year, I seem to recall being able to 'drag and drop' elements into an email template.  I went almost a year without having to actually build an email template, but now that I am needing one, I can only seem to find the option to build templates through the use of HTML code.Is HTML coding the only way to do this now?

The existing documentation on this topic shows that AEM 6.3 does not support OpenID, but links to a community solution:Adobe Experience Manager Help | Understanding Authentication support in AEMHowever, the community solution has the notice, "This module has been deprecated and retired."Does anyone have the current state of OpenID support in Sites 6.4?Regards,Brent

Hi, We're trying to limit the number of operators with administrator clearance. However, it seems like lot's of functionalities actually require administrator rights, which isn't okay. Therefore we are wondering if we can create a specific named rights for the following two actions so that we can assign those two rights to the operator groups needing them, and thus preventing those operators from having access to everything:Offer validationPackage managementWe are aware package management is usually done by admins, but in our case it's not feasible. Is there anyone knowing if this is possible and if so, how this can be achieved? Wesley

Within WF are Document Approvals and Proof Approvals considered the same when generating reports? We have two different ways that documents are approved. 1. Within a Project Task, using the Approvals option. 2. Accessing a document as a proof and approving it that way. Just curious if reporting captures them as the same metric, or are they considered two separate metrics on the back end?

Hi All,  We've been experiencing a phenomenon with our new leads coming in (all from the same form) where the data in certain fields being input as "default." I've looked for the cause of this in the activity logs of each of the leads and it appears this is happening at the form level. I'm wondering if the problem comes down to some of the fields had the form pre-fill enabled. Has anyone else had this experience?

Hello Adobe Community,I hope you’re all doing well!We are currently looking into integrating WebSDK with OneTrust for consent management on our websites and webapps. Our goal is to ensure that if a user returns to the site, they are not prompted for consent more than once. To do this, we want to align the user ID stored in OneTrust with the ID managed and collected by AEP’s identity service. Here are a couple of key points we’d like to clarify:How can we ensure that the same user is not asked for consent twice when they return to the site? I heard there is a HOUSE HOLD issue with current AEP, but I am not sure about that issue. How can we keep the user ID in OneTrust consistent with the one collected and managed by AEP’s identity service, allowing seamless consent tracking across sessions?Any advice or guidance on how to best achieve this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi all-Does anyone know the limitations of Federated Audience Composition? Is it the same as the original audience composition? For example, we want to know if there is a 10 composition limit in sandbox, same as the original. @brekrut maybe you know?

I am looking to create a calculated metric that sets a different value for Device type = Mobile and another one for Device type = Desktop.  Example:If homepage has page view & on mobile device, then set value for those hits to $2.If homepage has page view & on desktop device, then set value for those hits to $1.  When I look at the report - at the mobile and desktop rows, the calculated metric is correct.  However when I look at the overall homepage total, it doesn't give the correct total value by adding both the rows. I do not want to be having each of these desktop / mobile rows on every report i run. I just want to see the total for a page. See below how I am thinking of giving different value to the homepage depending on device  What I basically want is a list of sections or pages on our site - without having to use the breakdown of mobile / desktop.I just want an overall value.   When I look at the page itself wi

Hi all      I am trying to understand the drawbacks and benefits of using Caffeine In-Memory Caching. I saw ACS provides Http Cache Store using same mechanism . If you have used in your projects , could you help me understand what were the benefits and major challenges you faced ? Any drawbacks of using !? What kind of JSON can be stored mostly !? ( I understand it should be static , but I would still love to hear if anyone has used it for JSON related to products for ecommerce website etc)    What should be the caching strategy and how frequent should we flush the cache ? Since it is in-memory cache , how should we use mechanism efficiently !?   Thanks Veena

Hi all,   Can anyone confirm if Average Profile Richness metric has been removed from the License Usage section of their dashboard in AEP? We are currently no longer able to see it in our sandboxes.   Thanks, David

I have implemented server-side rendering with NodeSDK on the React code base. I am getting an error(screenshot attached). Can someone help me with that, please? I believe targetclient.browser.js is served from the SDK? maybe I am missing something? ThanksPraveen

Has anyone tried Pass4Future for Adobe AD0-E406 exam practice questions?I am prepping for the AD0-E406 exam and came across Pass4Future for practice questions. They claim to offer up-to-date exam practice questions and tests, but I am not sure if they are reliable. Has anyone here used Pass4Future before? Would you recommend it for Adobe AD0-E406 certification exam?

Hello Adobe Community, I’m currently trying to set up my local environment using the AEM SDK version aem-sdk-2023.12 for practice purposes. However, I'm encountering some issues:First-time startup worked fine, but now when I try to start the instance a second time, it fails to launch.I'm looking for best practices or steps to correctly set up a local AEM environment for development and testing, including any configuration tweaks or troubleshooting advice.Any additional resources or recommendations for working with the SDK in a local environment would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Adobe Campaign Standard experts, We want to use predictive engagement scoring but I'm not sure how to activate/enable it on our system. Because even though documentation is very clear on how to user it I don't see anything related with predictive engagement scoring in our dashboard, thus I don't know how to start using it.

In ACS, how can I use the enrichment activity to swap the value of an original field (from a CSV load) to a destination field in a profile so that a Yes becomes a No and a No becomes a Yes?

Hi all, Is there a way to access a "filtering conditions summary" just like we do for the "fatigue rules summary"? I know we can access the "exclusion causes" tab for each delivery but, for recurring ones, I would like to know the overall volume of exclusions executed by each typology rule applied, instead of checking it day-by-day. Thanks in advance. Best,Carolina

i went through this article, Solved: Marketing Channel Visits vs Marketing Channel Inst... - Adobe Experience League Community - 459904 and would like to confirm on my understanding on marketing channel and marketing channel instance. Scenario of customer visiting website: Customer lands on www.domain.com/attraction-pass through NATURAL SEARCH at 1000Customer lands on www.domain.com/hotels through DIRECT at 1015Customer lands on www.domain.com/flights through PAID SEARCH at 1020  My understanding on AA reporting measured:Marketing Channel can be either last touch or first touch attribution, hence i listed both down for clarity of the attribution behavior.Marketing Instance will only be measured on the actual click-in action. All page view will be count as individual occurrences but dedupe into a single visit.  Base page linkMarketing Channel (Last Touch)Marketing Channel (First Touch)Marketing Channel InstancesVisitswww.domain.com/attraction-passD

My use case follows an idea I posted https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager-ideas/enhance-assetcompute-microservice-to-accept-alttext/idi-p/705880 Basically I am receiving asset creation events from Workfront and am creating assets into AEM using a runtime action. I am able to create successfully using AssetCompute microservice. But after asset creation, I need to update altText and couple custom properties. These values are available with event at Runtime action. Now AssetCompute microservice DOES NOT allow to update metadata. The runtime action dies once it fires createAsset, doesnt wait ( or doesnt know) for asset to complete processing.   So I temporarily need to cache altText metadata somewer; wait for microservice to complete upload process, and then update metadata. One workaround is to use JCR as temp storage. store the metadata properties onto /var somewer and then fetch them after asset processed. Looking for better
