We have custom logic which produces rss output. We're having an issue where a particular tag in the rss output: <link> - is rendering the opening <link> tag as if it's a self closing tag (which makes the rss invalid):<link/>https://example/article.html</link>instead of:<link>https://example/article.html</link>Something in the system appears to be changing this opening <link> tag as if we change the <link> tag to something arbitrary, like:<foo>https://example/article.html</foo>the opening <foo> tag remains as it should (it does not change to <foo/>).We also tried changing the <link> tag to <img> - and saw the same behavior as with <link>, the opening <img> tag self closed as <img/>https://example/article.html</img>. Maybe this is a clue - as link and img tags usually are self closing? One other thing,  though feeds are accessed via calls like: /foo/bar/articles.rss - we ac

Hi,We have created an Experience fragment with a custom component in it, and created variations for the same.(XF - master,v1,v2).issue1:We are trying to export the same to Adobe target and we are able to export it successfully. When we try using the same on target page, if we use master XF alone on the page, we could see doubled master results on the page. if we use variation on the page, we could see 1 master result and 1 variation results on the page. is it a known issue? and how can we get only selected variation/master results on the page? (single results).issue2:When we use exported experience fragment master/variation on target page, we could not see the expected results.(Some values are missing/not being displayed as it is displayed on AEM page) like some of the values of the component(used inside exported XF) are missing here on the page. what might be the issue here? how/what can we do to show all the values as it is on normal AEM page? FYI,If we use the same componen

There are tutorials showing how to create a content fragment model via the web UI. This is of little use, as this will exist only on a developers local instance. We need a way to create content fragment models in our projects repository, so that we can build and deploy it to all our environments, and so that other developers get the model when they checkout the code from git and build / install? We have the same issue with page template types. Any ideas?

I am aware of the differences between data-sly-list and data-sly-repeat wherein data-sly-list is used to list the children and data-sly-repeat also lists the children but with every iteration the div also gets repeated. Now, the interviewer asked me so what happens when we do sly data-sly-list and sly data-sly-repeat. What will be the difference? Can someone please explain me the same?

We created a content fragment model, "bonus", and a content fragment from this model ("mybonus") We have a graphql client and are trying to get it to return the fields of mybonus. This document: says  To enable GraphQL queries in AEM, create an endpoint at /content/cq:graphql/global/endpoint:Nodes cq:graphql and global must be of type sling:Folder How do we do this? It then talks about "additional configuration" below: Additional configurations are required:Dispatcher:To allow required URLsMandatoryVanity URL:To allocate a simplified URL for the endpointOptionalOSGi Configuration:GraphQL Servlet Configuration:Handles requests to the endpointThe configuration name is org.apache.sling.graphql.core.GraphQLServlet. It needs to be provided as an OSGi factory configurationsling.servlet.extensions must be set to [json]sling.servlet.methods must be set to [GET,POST]sling.servlet.resourceTypes mu

according to this tutorial, installing the latest wknd site from git, should give you a configured graphql endpoint ready to go. Below we can see that the endpoint is configured, and the vanity url is http://localhost:4502/content/graphql/global/endpoint  The tutorial seems to be saying the correct URL to use is http://localhost:4502/content/graphql/global/endpoint.json When I send a simple graphql request to this URL, I get this response: {"servlet":"org.apache.felix.http.base.internal.dispatch.DispatcherServlet-313d2b89","message":"Forbidden","url":"/content/graphql/global/endpoint.json","status":"403"}  Any ideas?  Is it requiring some sort of authentication? If so, how do I disable it (i.e. make it public)

Hi, I've my Jenkins setup with my github repo, so when I click on Build Now it will build the entire project like core, ui.apps, ui.content etc. Now, my requirement is to modify the configuration so as to only build the ui.apps part from Jenkins. Can someone please help me with what changes I need to do? Attached is theconfiguration of the Jenkins job.

Good afternoon,  I would like to make a request to alter something on the deere.be website. Unfortunately I cannot make a request in workfront. The "submit request" button doesn't work. Could you alter this please?  Thx, Wim Kestens

I installed graphiql according to this article Here we can see the package is installed: But when I go to the required url: http://localhost:4502/content/graphiql.html I get: ForbiddenCannot serve request to /content/graphiql/ in org.apache.sling.servlets.get.DefaultGetServlet I am installing on a fresh instance of the AEM cloud SDK, with a clean install of the wknd site directly from git (which has grapql endpoint configured etc) Any ideas? The tutorial has no additional configuration that I can see. I also tried "reinstall" Here is the complete output.Request Progress: 0 TIMER_START{Request Processing} 4 COMMENT timer_end format is {<elapsed microseconds>,<timer name>} <optional message> 21 LOG Method=GET, PathInfo=null 27 TIMER_START{handleSecurity} 1584 TIMER_END{1555,handleSecurity} authenticator org.apache.sling.auth.core.impl.SlingAuthenticator@5e5d7787 returns true 1866 TIMER_START{Resourc

Hello - I am using v15 of the API to insert items as issues. I have a subset of items that inserted with an incorrect entry date and need to troubleshoot. Note this is not happening for all items.

How can we effectively migrate our existing data from the current report suite to a new one, ensuring accurate representation?Post-transfer, the objective is to observe precise data, breakdowns, and define user journeys seamlessly.

Hi,   We have an use case where there is no customer id, which is the primary identifier to work with.  For AEP, how do we go about that if we want to target those customer base?  Is there any solution around this?   Thanks

We have a new instance of Workfront onboarded with the admin console.I would like to sign up several hundred external users without them receiving the Welcome to Workfront email as this ultimately directs them to Adobe.com and not to my instance of workfront - this means they will browse around and request access to phtotshop etc. when all I want is them to log into my Workfront.I have found two settings (attached), one in the admin console and one in Workfront, but alas my new users STILL get the email..Any ideas??

Hello everyone!According to this documentation, Adobe Target can automatically forward the analytics payload to Adobe Analytics if the following identifiers are provided: supplementalDataId and trackingServer.Would you mind pointing me out where to find those identifiers?

Hi All ,I have a particular template A , Corresponding to this template I have a page property tab in dialog say B . I want that fields in this tab B should only be edited by a particular group C . For implementing this there are few ways like ACL permissions , java class called on dialog load content and doing functionality . But while doing ACL , I want to make it editable only for a particular group C and not any other group . Can anyone suggest it's implementation if done or any other inputs .Thanks,Deepak

my understanding of JMX is that its per VM.  With AEM cloud, they will scale up VMs and servers as needed.  In this case, how does one access and/or aggregate the jmx info?  As Adobe dont offer any sort of monitoring / alerting solution, being able to query the number of errors, or the average time for API responses via jmx would be a good partial solution. The jmx console seems to be available on local dev instances, but not on any. cloud instances (gives 403)

Hi,i created a component  X, X resource super type is  "tabs"  core componentin my X component  dialog  we created few tabs and fields like item, properties, accesblitybut if you see in image first items tab is coming from superType , this is happening in  one of the environemntin remaining other environments  i can see the tabs only which we created from  X dialog now how to avoid this "items" tab  in this one of the environementwe tried deleting the entire component and reinstalled but  still same issue

As per documentation we are trying to access universal editor to author the content from AEM itself for EDS .But it seems like we need to raise ticket to get the access. Does anyone tried the universal editor with edge delivery service who can help to provide the correct steps to achieve this.   Thanks

Hello everyone,I have a fairly simple engagement program, but it still doesn't work as expected. There are three streams. An email is sent in the first stream. There are two topics with CTAs in the email. If you click the CTA for topic 1, you will be taken to stream 2 and should receive an email about topic one. If you click the CTA for topic two in the first email, you will be taken to stream three and should receive the email for topic two. If you click on both CTAs you should receive both emails on both topics. Apparently everything works except for one “small thing”. So the first email arrives and when I click on the CTAs, I am pushed accordingly to stream 2 or stream 3. The problem is that the emails are not being sent. As far as I know, if you are pushed in a stream, the email is sent automatically without having to define any extra triggers for it. I've tried various tests, but I can't find the cause. Am I missing something or is the whole thing not as simple as I imagi

Hi Team,  I have a features table that generates a new record for a recipient when they purchase 1 or 2 features, like this: Recipient 1 - Feature 1Recipient 1 - Feature 2 I need to trigger an email with dynamic conditions based on the purchased features. The email should display content blocks for features that were not purchased. For example, I want to trigger an email for Recipient 1 with Feature 3 included. I'm unsure how to group the features (Feature 1, Feature 2) when querying in query activity.Do I need to use an enrichment activity.Send them as a single record in the email. The email should check: If Feature is not equal to Feature 1, show Feature 1 content. If Feature is not equal to Feature 2, show Feature 2 content. If Feature is not equal to Feature 3, show Feature 3 content. In this specific case, the email should include Feature 3. Please provide suggestions, and let me know if further clarification is needed. Thank you in advance. &n

Hi everyone, My schema has a column name called features with values feature1, feature2, feature3 and one recipient can have multiple features For ex:recipient 1  feature 1recipient1  feature 2recipient 1 feature 3 in the HTML, i have added the if conditions but before my email activity there is a deduplication activity. So, not sure if it filters the recipient1 and keeps only one record.  Also, how can I achieve the dynamic content in the email.  For ex:recipient 2 feature 1recipient 2  feature 3recipient3 feature 1recipient3 feature 3 As per the above example, recipient2 purchased two features now I want to show only feature 2 in the email and same for recipient 3 if condition fails if the first condition itself satisfies , it will not check for the rest of the conditions in the html. Please suggest Thank you in advance.

an example might best explain the problem:user requested to load a page with a form. User came through to pub1 (we have 3 publishers)When user submits the form, AEM (let's call it validate-form servlet) will validated the form by calling an integration API. validate-form sevlet will then  store the API response to an HTTP session (for security) if API call returns with a success message. (request was processed by pub1)Before the user can proceed to the next step, we need to send an OTP (let's call this one send-OTP servlet) and I need to retrieve the ID from the session before I can send the OTP (sending OTP is done by calling an integration API). (in this instance, request to send OTP is processed by pub2)because it's a server session, my send-OTP servlet (in pub2) does not have access to session stored in pub1. What are my options in making it work? These are the ideas that's coming to me right now:enable sticky sessions in either Cloudfront or ELB (unsure which one to
