Workfront

Hi, I applied a filter "Status!=CUR" to filter out the projects under a program but after applying it I am unable to see any projects and Its throwing an error "An error has occurred and we are working to resolve the issue. To continue with your work, try refreshing this browser page." Anyone has any idea what caused this problem or how to fix it ? Attaching a screenshot for reference. Any help or suggestion would be appreciated. Hi,  We are trying to build a scenario to translate data between two objects in Workfront. The two objects will be Program and Document.  We want to translate the single channel field in program into three different fields in document. For example, if SMS is selected in the channel program field, we will want to cascade three different values to three different fields in document form.  I managed to set up triggers beautifully. However when it comes to data store set up, this is where I am stucked at. I use the Search am using the Search Record module for Data Store module. The filter I put is Channel in Data Store is equal to Channel selected in Program.  It works when there is a single value. However the Channel field we set up is actually a multi select field. The operation stopped at the data store module as they are not able to pick up multiple values.  Is there a way for us to set up the data store filter so that it will be able t

We have hybrid working across our business, where the roles can be done from home. Our artworkers and designers work hybrid, but each works on different days in the office and from home. I don't know how to capture this information so I can produce a report that will show productivity levels comparing home and office work. 

Hi all,When viewing the tasks on a project, is there a way to select a filter and view it simultaneously? I am building very useful combinations of the two, but I need to instruct users to select the right filter and then the right view to get the right result. A list of "Filters Views" (i.e. the two together) would be great. Can this be done? 

Out Fiscal Year runs from July 1 through June 30, and at no point is the planner explicitly asked what fiscal year a project falls into. I need a field that will calculate what fiscal year a project is in based in the creation date of the project (close enough for my reporting needs). I planned to put this calculation field in a "sysadmin" section we have at the bottom of a custom form attached to every project (mandatory). Problem is I couldn't wrap my head around how to do… "If project creation date is between these two dates then output "FY20" and if it's between these two other dates then output "FY21" (and so on into the future)." Is this possible, if so how does one pull this off?

I have a process where we are trying to see if an issue / request has been submitted that gets moved to tasks. I need the report to stay as a task report due to certain necessary filter criteria that I can't apply to an issue report. I need to reference if a task has an issue sitting on it - we don't convert the issues, we are just moving them. Is this possible to do in text mode?  Here are some screenshots. Hi All I have a couple of new users who get the error "?exception.database.duplicatekeyvalue.unique.constraint?" when they try logging in to Workfront and signing in using the company SSO, have any of you seen this before? or know what might be causing it? Thanks and hopefulPaul

When costing a project, does anyone know how to set up a separate margin on expenses assigned to a task that is different than the margins that are set for labour costs? For example, if I create a project plan and have set my financials to give me fees of labour + 25% margin but I only want to charge 10% on any expenses, how would I do this?

My company uses pre-made templates with set schedules that populate when creating a new project from a template. However, these schedules assume that the project was started on time. For rush projects, I need to edit the dates accordingly. When I try to edit start date, end date, or task dates, the automated date overrides my input. Or, the option is not available and simply reads "This field is automatically calculated by the system". I want to override this calculation and input my own dates. How? 

I feel that what I am asking for should be easy but I am stumped, so your help would be great.  I am creating a new field on a Task Form. The field is of type calculated text. In the field, I want to reference data from the Project, specifically a field on the project called 'reference'. I can see all the task fields but cannot see a way to reference back up to the project data the task is for.  Thanks for any help you can give me with this one.  Thanks, 

I'm trying to create a report of all proofs that are related to my organization. The issue is that there are multiple portfolios where these documents are stored, and they are all stored  at different levels (Portfolio, Project, Task, Issue). The way that the Document report works currently, if filtering by portfolio, only returns documents that are stored at the portfolio level and is not inclusive of other documents that are under that portfolio but  at lower levels like Projects, Tasks and Issues are excluded using a portfolio filter. Is there a way where I can get a filtered document report containing all documents across all levels stored under a portfolio?

New to Workfront but doing ok on working most things out.However, hoping someone can help with this one.I have Task A that has a duration of 4 days.I then have task B that has a duration of 1 day.Task B can start one day after Task A starts and can finish up to two days after task A is done.How do I set up task B to reflect this as it is like Task be has two predecessors, both being Task A. One would be SS+1dOne would be FF+2dBut you cannot have a Task with two predecessors from the same Task.  Well, not that I have found. Thanks for any help with this one.

Hello! I noticed that a user I tagged in a proof who wasn't on the proofing workflow was now on the workflow on my stage as a reviewer & approver.  I can't recall seeing this happen before, anyone know if this is a new thing or have I just been oblivious for years now?

We are working on moving our users over from legacy to new Home and wanted to reach out to the community to see if there are any tips, tricks, reminders that you have found to be helpful for your users with the change. I'm trying to use a calculated field to display help text in case certain criteria from a field selection is met. If the date selected in a launch date field is less than five business days away, then I want the calculated field to display a statement. Here is the formula I am using: IF({DE:Launch Date}<=(ADDWEEKDAYS($$TODAY,"5")),"Help Text") The calculated field format is "Text" but the calculation is showing as "N/A" regardless of what date I pick in the Launch Date date picker. Any recommendations on how I fix this calculated field?
