How to Create a True Service Account Connection in Workfront via Workfront Fusion

Currently, when setting up a Workfront connection in Fusion, personal user details are being used for the service account connection. While this allows the Fusion scenario to execute successfully, it creates an unintended issue: any newly created request form in Workfront defaults the "Project Owner" to the user ID associated with the connection setup.

How can we establish a true service account connection that avoids relying on personal user credentials and ensures the correct ownership for newly created objects?

Unfortunately Workfront doesn't have the concept of a service account, only user accounts. You either have to include who the owner should be on creation, or you have to come in after creation and update the ownership.
