Workfront Fusion

Is it possible to have a request queue and within the custom form there is a question (let's say 'yes' or 'no'), if Yes is selected a second custom form is attached to the request. I am not looking for display logic to appear within the original custom form, I need it to be a separate custom form which can be completed at the time of the original request. For example, I am submitting a request using Form1. In Form1 there is a question to which I reply Yes. Because I selected Yes, Form2 appears under Form1 for me to complete. Could this be achieved creating a Fusion scenario? Thanks

Hi, I am using fusion to create a scenario where I need to assign the task assignee as an approver on the same task. I am trying to use an approval process but it does not allow a wildcard as assigned to ID. Can you please suggest a simpler way to do it? Thanks,Nisha

I'm stuck, and I need some help.I've got a Custom API Call module that pulls assignments for a particular user for a specific task date range--I'm most interested in the workPerDate entries for these assignments.  My test scenario yields 6 assignments and a total of 14 workPerDate entries:  My goal is twofold--I want to (1) exclude the entries prior to 5/26 (i.e., 5/23, 5/24, 5/25); and (2) total the minute values for the remaining entries (in other words, I'm trying to get assigned time for the 5/26-5/30 work week).Could someone please provide some guidance on how to approach this?  I've been playing around with different iterate and aggregate modules, as well as array functions, all without luck (at one point I managed to aggregate the values for a single date, but that was about it).Thanks in advance.

Is there a way to view a Session Id in Fusion Custom API call? The DevTool is not showing it

We currently have log time to future dates turned on in timesheet preferences, but leadership is asking that to be turned off, with the exception of vacation days, so those hours can still be entered in advance. If we can automate hours getting logged as vacation based on time-off calendar entries, the Fusion scenario could backdoor the future task dates setting (I think), while also making it easier on the users, so they don't have to update the calendar, AND log time on their timesheet for the same dates.

Helloes, We are having the following scenario: the planned completion date is today for an approval task, and we would like to send an email to the user who should be approving it - that s totally fine and we managed to achieve this easily. Now comes the following case: there could be multiple tasks that are supposed to be approved today (either in the same project, or different projects). Is there any way we could consolidate all those tasks or projects links into a single email that we send at the beginning of the day lets say, so the users are not spammed with emails?  Have a great day ahead!

All I see the experience league videos to follow the exercise walkthrough and do practice in test instance for fusion learning.Its very hard to follow and understand the capability for a person who has no coding background or Developer experience.I would want to know if there is any Bootcamp kind of training that Adobe provides/provided in the past.

Hi! We like to use the operators available under 'general function' when configuring 'Search Criteria' in Fusion. But we cannot seem to get it to work. Can one of you help us with our query? 1. In case we configure the search criteria like in this screenshot directly below, the scenario works.  2. But as this is the same object and just to different values, we would like to combine this using the 'OR-statement' like seen in the screenshot directly below. However, this config in Fusion returns an error.  Can some determine what we are doing wrong?

Hello, Hoping someone can assist.I need to compile field-level data from multiple tasks and add it to a CSV file. The issue I’m facing is that the data is arriving in separate bundles, whereas I need it in a single bundle to correctly position the fields in the CSV, ensuring they appear in the right order and row.Does anyone know of a way to merge separate bundles into a single, easily manageable data set? Any suggestions would be very welcome!

Hi,  I have decent handle on Workfront but am new to working with Fusion.  Within WF, I have created a new issue type for procurement requests. I have also added a new procurement approval process when there is a new submission. The first approval step to be set for the submitters manager. The 2nd approver is static person and straight forward. The problem I am having is finding where to update the approver id to be the manager. Here are the Fusion steps:. 1. WF - Watch for new issues - (Trigger when there are new issues from a specific project)     a. Outputs: ID, Approval Process ID, Entered By Id,  Name, Project ID     b. Optional Filter: projectID for this request queue project2. WF - Read a Record - (look up the user's manager id)     a. Input: Entered by ID     b: Output: ManagerID3. WF - Update a record - I am not sure where to update the approvers. Issue has a few approval relate

I created a scenario to watch for documents dropped into a specific folder that then get processed and added into our Brandfolder. However has anyone found a way to process all of the documents within a Zip File that is dropped into the Document Folder. The Zip File itself isn't causing any issues, however it seems to only be processing one file out of the Zip File vs all of the Files. 

Has anyone used Fusion to log external vendor invoices in a projects billing records?  I've found bulk import instructions for a csv file but I'm looking for a blueprint that imports an invoice to the corresponding project.  Are any tips if you've developed a scenario for this!  

In our previous system, each "campaign" had a unique number assigned to it.  The numbers grow by 1 with each campaign created.  In Workfront, the Programs have IDs, but they are alphanumeric and very long.  Ideally we need to create an auto-generated number that can be used to help search and track the Program.  Something along the lines of a 5-digit number that can grow as our number of Programs increases.  Is there a way to create a calculated field that will produce this or use Fusion to assist?  Thank you for any assistance!

Hello, I have a Text Field with Formatting where I would like to add some text to existing text using Fusion. As the content in this field type is saved in rich text format, adding something seems to be a challenging issue to me. So I was wondering, if perhaps somebody did something like that before and has some hints for me... Thanks in advance. RegardsLars

I've got a scenario which is supposed to run every 5 minutes (Watch Events), but I see in the history that it runs at almost random times, sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes 10 or 20, or it can be hours between runs. What could be causing this?

We have a master project we call a campaign and we create requests under it that will become the campaign tactics.I  have a scenario I'm working on that copies the documents  from the the master to each request as they are created.Problem is since the master documents folder lists the original documents and then all the documents of the request as they are added,each new request gets dupes uploaded to it.  Is there a way to test if the document already exist before it is uploaded? Any suggestions appreciated.ThanksFrank 

We have a flow that is parsing text from an Outlook Email using the HTML to Text parser which works fine, then taking that and using the Get Elements from Text module with Key Value Pairs.  This is spliiting up the body correctly except in cases where the title uses special characters.  The item below would read in as Multidisciplinary Center and drop everyting after the special character occurs.  What do I need to do to get it to read the special characters? Multidisciplinary Center (MDC) Medical History  Item Name: Multidisciplinary Center (MDC) Medical History

If i have a scenario that's running and a month down the road there is an update to the scenario. Normally for us, we develop and test in sandbox, then clone the scenario into prod and deactivate the old scenario. We re-use the same webhook that was on the old version. However, I've heard that its good to create a new webhook every time i clone an updated scenario over. But in doing this i've found out that if i deactivate the old scenario, the webhook on that version is still active and needs to be manually disabled, which is causing issues with data going to the new/old webhooks. Which is better re-use a webhook on the same scenario even if its updated or create a new webhook every time its updated and keep in mind to deactivate that one as well? what are the pros and cons of this? Thanks!

Hello, I want to take a certain action on the lowest sub-task given a higher parent within Fusion. When the task I am looking for is directly underneath the parent task there is no issue getting this information with a quick search within Fusion. However, in some cases I have multiple layers between one another where the search is on a grandparent task instead on a direct parent.
