Workfront Fusion

Hi,  We would like to build an automation so that each time a request is submitted to a user, the automation will see if the user is available to work on the request or not by looking at the PTO Calendar in Workfront.  Then we'll send a comment to the requestor saying that the user is OOO. I have been looking at the fields and modules inside Fusion but could not find a field that will help us to achieve this.  Has anyone done this before and can you help to advise me how can I construct this automation? Hello, I am attempting to build a scenario that will move a document/proof to a specified folder every time said document/proof enters the 'decision made' stage. Is this possible? If so, does anyone know how to trigger on proof approvals? Thank you,Eric

How can I export Workfront reporting data to Workfront Fusion?

 in my custom form, I've Group Title1, Group Title2, Group Title3, Group Title4.... & upto Group Title40. These fields are displayed using display logic based on the number of group titles selected in prior. User may select only 5 group titles and fill five fields.  Now in fusion, I need to use these in aggregator and perform an operation for each for this value. Appreciate any help, thanks in advance.

Hi All, I'm trying to update an active scenario I built to attach a custom form to an issue when it is routed to it's home project. The scenario I currently have takes a request/issue and routes it to the project the requester entered in a project typeahead field on the request form.  Once it is moved to this project I want Fusion to automatically  attach a custom form.  This is the module I attached at the end of my scenario but I keep getting the following error message from my new module:RuntimeError[422] name cannot be nullOriginAdobe Workfront Here's the Module in question Module Type: Create a Record (with attaching custom forms)Connection: SB01Record Type: IssueSelect Fields to Map: Project IDProject ID: (map on) 11. I'm getting this error message - [428] We're sorry, but your save failed because someone else tried to save this project at the same time. Please try to save again. For context I'm creating a task using custom api module see attached image. I have iterating value which is getting added as a suffix to the task name. For example if I have 3 values, three task(with value suffix) should be created but two task are getting created and I'm getting this runtime error. suggestion needed to fix the issue.Custom api module output iterator value  

Hello everyone - I'm trying to use the "get (object; path)" function to get field values out of the parameterValues object. I set a variable such as MY-VARIABLE to have the name of the field I want such as:  "DE:My Field Name Here" Then I get the field value using "get" as follows:  {{get(`1.body.data.parameterValues; MY-VARIABLE)}} This works great if the field name has no periods.  But if the field name has periods, such as "DE:My.Field.Name.Here", it always returns empty (apparently it's conflicting with the dot-notation used in "get"). So, my question:  is there a way to deal with periods in the key name within "get" above? Or, alternately:  is there a way to parameterize the field name within field mapping syntax, i.e. to use a variable such as MY-VARIABLE instead of a literal field name, such as: {{1.body.data.parameterValues.`DE:My.Field.Name.Here`}}  =>  {{1.body.data.parameterValues.MY-FIEL

Hello, I am trying to add a module(s) that will search a Project for every Task that contains a certain Role, and to then remove that Role from all of those tasks. Does anyone have a way of achieving this in Fusion? Thank you

I’m currently working on creating a comprehensive Postman collection that includes all API calls for Workfront’s Project APIs. This collection will serve as a handy reference for future use. However, I’ve encountered a challenge with the Action API, specifically the linkExternalObject action for projects.If anyone has experience with Workfront’s Project APIs, particularly with the linkExternalObject action as I m uncertain about the correct values to use. Your insights would be greatly appreciated. 

One of our scenarios stopped today just before the Workfront Update Record module because the record was an OPTASK with a status of New+Pending Approval.  This is a very rare condition, so to avoid this happening again I modified the scenario to stop for any object where there is an Approval Process with a status of Pending Approval.  Here is what I did: Using a Read Record module, I read the awaitingApprovals collection for the object,       And just after that module, I created--- a variable representing the numeric length of the array  (I did it this way because I've had problems with 0 and 1 being recognized as strings and not numeric data types in the past)--- then a filter for the route to continue only if the variable is less than 1 : This approach works after testing, but was there a simpler way to do this?  Thanks for your feedback.  

Is it possible to use Fusion to Create a CSV file and then upload that file to a specific folder within Workfront? I am trying to have Fusion grab a list of issues on a designated project with some values from a custom form, then create a CSV to be used for a kickstart where it will take those Issues and their values and make new issues with the same values. The goal for this is to have a user specify a specific prior project then get a list of issues from that project that they can alter to only have the issues they want, then reupload the file with a new name to the project they want those issues on. The fusion scenario would take that csv list and do a jumpstart to create all the issues and pull in the information from the prior issue and include any changes made on the csv. Is this even possible? I can't find a way to take the CSV I'm making with fusion and have it uploaded into Workfront. For some context we use issues as our deliverable lists for our marketing depa

I have a Fusion Scenario that starts with an Adobe Workfront Watch Event that triggers every time a form is updated on an Issue.    I'm trying to compare the New State values and Old State values and then get a list of the fields that were changed. 2.  I'm also trying to use the Adobe Workfront Custom API module to get the fields on a form that is attached to an Issue that contains a specific string.     For instance, I have multiple fields with names like:     'Marketing Distribution - Amazon'     'Marketing Distribution - DirecTV'     'Marketing Distribution - Google'     ..............     I want to use the Custom API call to get all fields that contain 'Marketing Distribution'. thanks for the help,Kelly

I have a scenario where we are creating tasks using custom api module of Workfront. I'm adding a suffix for example manual task - "value"  to task name. The suffix is added based on the iterator's value. We have a array of suffix's which we are iterating and passing the value in custom api call module and task is getting created with suffix names. When I try to add for 3 suffix, 3 task are getting created. But when i add a new suffix instead of creating one/new task with the new suffix, the tasks are getting duplicated its taking earlier 3 suffix and also taking the new suffix.  Attached the screenshot for reference.   

In Workfront Fusion we have a scenario that listens for updates made to an Issue. On one of the custom forms attached to the issue we are making a change to the bullet values on a Text with Formatting field. However, this update to the bullets does not trigger the Watch Events that is set up to listen for updates made to a Workfront issue.

Hi all,New to Fusion and looking to set up a scenario where when a Project's Status is changed to ______ (custom status), an update/notification is sent to a specific user on our team to begin a process. Any help/direction would be hugely appreciated as I am figuring a lot of this out on my own. Thanks!

Hello, I am trying to run a scenario to update the certain fields any time a certain selection of fields on a custom form are updated. At the end of the day a trigger based on any change on the custom form would suffice. My goal is to avoid running a scenario based on anytime a project is updated as that would amount to quite a lot of unnecessary Fusion operations. I need to base the trigger on updates to just a specific custom form and/or fields. I am aware of how to trigger based on just one specific field change, but I am not sure how to build the trigger to allow for multiple fields changing. Does anyone know how to base a trigger off of a custom form being updated? Any help would be greatly appreciated,-Eric

We just licensed Planning and I'm trying to create Planning entries from issues.  I have been able to do it at the most basic level but I get errors when trying to leverage custom form fields from the issue and put those values into the Planning entry.The fields I'm having problems with are either single- or multi-select dropdowns in the issue and the text values are the same in Planning but are built as custom columns in Planning rather than records.  Trying to map the values from the custom form fields into the fields for Planning yields the errors below. I understand these are two different object types and (as far as I'm aware) custom forms aren't supported in Planning quite yet, but has anyone tried this and been successful? 

Hello Everyone, I am unable to upload an asset to AEM via Fusion. Its a very basic Fusion scenario that downloads an image from a HTTP URL that is then used later to create an asset on AEM. I already checked that the user has been granted with "DAM Users & Content Authors" access. The Issue as on Dev tools is as belowInvalid recursion selector value 400 .. when trying to invoke the initiateupload.jsonPlease let me know how to overcome this issueThanks

I am struggling with this case.I have a scenario that runs smoothly and closes as "completed" all tasks that have a "proof" that has been approved (advanced proofing with multiple stages). This was set up with the hypothesis that users were going to upload just one proof for each taskNow, after a few months of usage, we have a different use case where users upload multiple proofs to a single task and we need to change the Fusion Scenario in order to work in this case.The logic must be: - if all proofs in the task (advanced proofs with multiple stages) are "approved" ==> update the task as "completed"- if even one proof is still pending or "change requested" ==> leave the task untouchedI tried to set up in Fusion a very simple algorithm such as:- Count all proofs in the task = (A)- Count all proofs completed in the task = (B)if A-B=0 ==> Complete the task if A-B>0 do nothingI am not able to set up the counting though, and I am stuck.I have tried using the Array Agg

Hi all,I have a flow where I'm iterating over a list of file names that I need to get from an S3. The flow is working fine, but now I want to add better error handling and be able to return the list of files that were successfully fetched and a list of those that had errors.I have the Iterate module, then the S3 and in the error handling I'm accumulating in a variable the names of files that fail, but in the webhook response I can't use this value.I mean, I don't want to add a webhook response after the errors, because the flow continues, I want to be able to use the general webook response and make reference to this variable to return it in the flow response.  i want to have something response status 200{"errors" : ["file1", "file5"],"success": ["file2","file3","file4]}  thanks in advance! 

Hi All,We have custom user forms attached to each user, that has accurate data pulling in from other platforms.  We want to use this data on the custom form to update native user fields in WF (i.e. telephone, city and state).  How would I go about creating a fusion scenario that uses preexisting data on the custom user form to update those native user fields? I also need the scenario to make updates to the native fields if any of those fields on the custom form get updated. appreciate any suggestions/directions you could give me on this.
