Workfront Fusion

I have created a Fusion scenario to add a new item to a list in sharepoint.  All fields populate as expected except Requestor which is a Person or Group Type.   If I subsequently edit the item directly in the sharepoint list, I can enter the same name I pass from Fusion, the name is found and after I select it the field is populated.   My feeling is that sharepoint is expecting a specific format for the name but I'm unable to determine what is expected.   Fusion ModuleMicrosoft Share Point Online - Create An Item Fusion Module item Key format Sharepoint List Field 

We have 100's of old document (not proof) approval requests in Workfront that are either no longer needed. Ideally, I'd like to cancel them all, but I'd especially like to start with cancelling the document approval requests that are between users that are no longer with our company (so both the requestor and the approver are no longer active in Workfront) because at least in that scenario, no one would get an email notification that their document approval request has been canceled. I would then follow-up with a scenario that I could use to capture stale requests between active users (or a mix of active users and inactive users, depending on which side of the approval they are on), and I would temporarily turn off the "document approval request has been cancelled" notification emails for active users. Would anyone be able to explain to a Fusion newbie (and I mean newbie, I have only had Fusion for 1 month) what scenario I could write to attempt this?

I have requirement to replace comma with semicolon. I tried String replace function, but it didn't work i think it is not considering semicolon. If I use other characters instead of semi colon it is getting replaced properly. Is there any way to escape semicolon. 

Hello!  I'm working on a scenario that will automate our project closure process, we have a Project Summary Details form on all of our projects that needs to the data mapped before we can close the project.  Im currently in the mapping stage of the scenario and keep running into this issue:my first module is a Watch Record module that watches for projects that are marked 100% complete, followed by a read record module to get the information from that project, and then a search Task module to search for a certain task within the results of the watch module and keep getting an error result: Missing value of required parameter 'ID'.  I've tested this two ways, 1 targeting the watch record module and second targeting the read a record module, as they both output an IDand neither of them work when tested. Any assistance is appreciated, thank you!

Hello, I have a .csv file that feeds into my scenario and creates several new records in Salesforce. The output of the "Create new record in SF" is the ID for each newly created record.When I am testing this out:1 .csv file with 3 rows of data goes in.3 new records with ID numbers are created in Salesforce.I want the next step to be simply to create a new .csv, again with 3 rows, one for each contact and also showing the new ID number for each record. I cannot figure out where I am going wrong! The best I can get is creating 3 x csv files but I can't seem to combine them all into one place. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks CSV is parsed producing 3 bundles from the 3 rows in the file. 3 x SF records are created based on the data. Trying Array aggregator but 3 operations are still produced  I want to aggreagate the 3 operations and include some data (first name, last name) from the original csv file but additionally have the ID number from the SF module

Hello, I have a PUT Custom API module that shares a project with a user's manager once an issue is converted in the scenario.  However, I'm having trouble preserving the original, preset list of teams/users a project was shared with (from Project Template Sharing). Is there a way to preserve the existing information and simply add the manager to the 'shared with' list? Modules used:  Thank you for your insight! 

I have a situation where I have to concatenate values from a multi-select (where I use the join() function), but if only 1 selection is made my join() returns a null.I need to find a way to determine if this field is coming in as an array or single text field.Ideas?

Hi! I'm currently looking at setting up a service account to "own" our Fusion scenarios, but I was wondering does that service account also need to be an admin in our Workfront space? Appreciate any assistance!

If I have an array of collections with key-value pairs, what's the easiest way to transform this array so that only certain keys (and their values) are preserved in the array?For example, if this is the output of a HTTP request module:how can I transform this data so that within each collection I have only the value and label keys?I'd like to store the transformed array in a variable so that I can later "search" within that with the map function.Thank you! 

I am newer to creating and supporting various fusion scripts and ran into a challenge and wondering if there is a solution.  Scenario:    I have a CSV file that we are reading with fusion that includes a "problem" text (just a string of text) that we are looking to insert the text into a new "Request Description" field which is a text field with formatting. Issue:  When running a fusion scenario that is creating a record, I receive the following message:   "The following parameter value is invalid....".     From what I found, this appears to be a formatting issue.   Doing some digging, I found this article that refers to the need for a JSON file to upload into this field, but I feel I am missing something from a fusion standpoint on how to create this:  Rich text fields in the Adobe Workfront API | Adobe Workfront Ideas?    Is there an easy solution to convert this to allow for applying to the new

Hello, I have an integration with Azure DevOps that creates Product Backlog Items when a WF Project goes Current.  Context:In the WF Project, there is a parent task named 'MarTech Development,' and varying subtasks underneath it that are all summed up. Hello all,I am very new to Fusion.  Does anybody know how to add a dash if there is a space between two text.  For example, I have a string called "Workfront Fusion", but I want the string to be "Workfront-Fusion".  I have tried using replace and " " (as blank space), and "-" (as the replacement string dash).  However, this still returns without the dash.  I also have lower to bring all the string to lower case.  

I'm new to Fusion and one of the quick wins we've identified is pulling the overall deliverable due date custom field in the issue into the project template. The goal is for the last task due date which is release final files automatically aligns with the overall due date set by the client in their request. Is this even possible and if so, what happens to the tasks if the time allotted doesn't align with the template? Any insights would be helpful to the possibility, concerns and even how to start setting this up as a scenario. Thanks in advance!

Hi All,  I wanted to know if anyone has created a Fusion scenario to generate a $$USER.ID report displaying all of the active proofs a user is listed as just a 'reviewer' on a report.  This is something I've been meaning to tackle for a long time.  I imagine others would benefit from this to.

I'm creating a Workfront to Jira scenario using the Jira Cloud Create a record Module.  It keeps erroring on the "reporter" field of t he module.  I have tried mapping it to both the Sponsor name and the email address of the sponsor but when I run the scenario I get an error:[400] Specify a valid value for reporterDoes anyone know what could be wrong?  In Jira the reporter is a character name. Thanks in advance  Frank

Hello, I have a Fusion scenario that converts incoming Issues into Projects. I have a branch on the scenario that:Applies the same custom form to the converted project (Misc Action module)Gets the request details (Read a record module)Copies request details from the issue to the custom form that is now on the converted project (Update a record module)I'm having trouble figuring out which modules to add to now:Export the custom form details present on the projectUpload the document to a document folder Is this possible to automate? Hi all,  Does anyone have advice on learning to do/classes to take (online, university, etc.) for a current Fusion builder/citizen developer who wants to get more into on 1. more advanced Fusion building concepts (like JSON, API, relevant languages or concepts, etc.) and 2. the app-building/better understanding world? I am very intrigued by the ability to embed custom apps mentioned in the fourth quarter release webinar, but my knowledge in the developer space is limited. Does anyone know if there are any guidelines or documentation on when to use Workfront Custom API modules vs the Workfront Native modules (Create a record, Search, etc.) in terms of performance (execution time, throughput, impact on scenario performance, etc.)? I typically default to using the Workfront Custom API modules due to familiarity but am curious if there are situations where native modules may perform better than the Custom API ones.

We are working on connecting to our Acquia Dam using the "Widen" connector.  What is the best way to pull in only one asset?  We were planning on utilizing a 5 digit form number but wondering if there a better piece of metadata to use?  Can suggestions on a variable to put in the API?
