Workfront Fusion

Hi everyone, I'm a bit puzzled with this issue, so I would appreciate any advice how to fix it.  In one of the flows, I filter out specific results and count them with iterator (increment function), then store in the variable. For example, I have 5 bundles meeting the filter criteria and thus I have 5 bundles in stored variable.Then I need to use this result value in another flow, so I use Get variable module to access it, but for some reason I get number 4 here, instead of 5. I'm not sure what I'm missing here. How can I get the right result (i.e. 5 in this case)? Any ideas? Could you please advise?

We are exploring a process where we want to have creative partners review their project review and provide notes to the project owner on what needs to be improved on or added after reviewing. We are wondering if it is possible to have the creative partner fill out a custom form and then have a checkbox field that would trigger an update to be posted within the project back to the project owner. We are hoping to avoid having the designer send the update manually to save a step. Also, we are trying to track these changes through the form so we can report out on where issues are commonly coming up with our various marketing channels. Has anyone done anything like this in Fusion? Thanks in advance!

Trying to get this template to work and was wondering if anyone out there already had this working intheir instance. If so was there so tweaking involved, or did you find some specific customizing helpful?  I would like to limit the scenario to a specific set of Projects not apply it any and all Proofs in our instance. thanks!

When an update is made on a custom form I need to create a document and add the fields.  That is straightforward.  However, if the document already exists then I need to create a new version of that document.  So I generate a new version but making that a new version of the original document is my issue.  The Adobe help is obscure and other sites talk about getting the document 'handle', from the newly created and-soon-to-be new version.  However, document fields in fusion don't list the handle field even though the API explorer does.  Any help would be excellent.  Thanks. I am beginning to consider connecting WF to AcquiaDAM (Widen!) using Fusion. I was just curious if others out there are already doing this, if so what are you using it for? thanks

I'm currently building a scenario in which a change to the project planned completion date triggers the creation of a new baseline for that project.  In cases where the project has existing baselines, I'd like to set the most recently entered baseline as the default baseline before creating the new one.I have 3 baselines in my sample project:Original [created by WF when the project was marked Current]Baseline02Baseline03I was playing around, and I've been able to (1) sort the baseline array by name; (2) get the ID for Baseline03 based upon the sort; and (3) use the ID in a Custom API module to set Baseline03 as the default baseline.Although this works, I thought it might be cleaner if I could sort the baseline array by the baseline entry date (rather than worry about our naming conventions for baselines).  entryDate is listed as a field in the Baseline object in the API, but I can't seem to sort the array using it as a key.Is this even possible?  Is there a better w

Does anyone have a best practice solution for bringing text into a Workfront Rich Text field. We are finding when moving text from Rich Text fields in other applications that we are running into characters that are not accepted such as trademark and bullet symbols and we are losing things like URL links and highlighting. Salesforce is one of the source applications where this has been a recurring problem. Is there a parser that can take Rich Text in various formats and bring it easily into the JSON required by the Workfront Rich Text field?

My company wants to merge work from two team portfolios but divide the teams into two new teams: creative/brand team and a channel team. Originally, I had two separate portfolios for the two different teams that were specific to company value stream guidelines.  Does anyone have suggestions on starting from scratch with a new team name/portfolio and a new request queue vs. merging the two existing (assuming they can be merged easily)?  

Hello Team, We are planning to integrate Workfront with AEM assets. I recently saw there is a connection between AEM Assets and Workfront Fusion is also possible. My question is:What is the difference between the 2 connections (WF with AEM Assets, WF Fusion with AEM Assets)?Is it possible to use either of them to achieve the DAM content lifecycle solution?Which one is better to use?Thanks in advance,

I'm trying to trigger Watch Events module when a new project is created in the system. I have not set any event filters yet, still it does not run when a new project is created. The scenario is scheduled to run immediately as the data arrives.

My coworker wants to run a Fusion automation on the last task in a project (the final task number and name will vary by template).My thought was to have a filter to identify tasks where the task number equals the total number of tasks in the project.  I see totalTaskCount as an available project field in the API, but I don't see it in Fusion (I'm looking at the WF Read a Record module with Project as the record type).I could create a custom project field with totalTaskCount and compare the task number to that, but is there a way to pull this info from Fusion directly?Thanks.

Does anyone else have any issues with their scenario routing incorrectly even though all the data store information is correct?  I have about 50 entries and my newest one is causing issues. None of the others are routing incorrectly. This scenario should route to the user when, among other things like specified business division, etc, Select request type is Marketing Page Updates Fusion is saying Marketing Page Update is selected when it is not. Basically it is routing to this individual when the criteria is not met.   

Hello, I just wanted to create a simple scenario: Using the Google Drive - Download a file module to download a JSON file -> convert the binary data part to plain text using toString() -> parse JSON -> ... Unfortunately the Download a file module gives the binary as a Collection of thousands of entries. I do need the binary part as Buffer, codepage: binary. Did anybody make similar experiences and perhaps found a workaround? Is there a simple possibility to concert the collection to something I can work with?  I created the exact same scenario on make.com, which is the basis for Fusion. Hello all,I'm relatively new to Fusion and I'm looking to create a scenario to automate our project naming with the project reference number, 2 digit year and the existing project name.Example: "123456-24 Project Name" Couple of speed bumps to consider.For existing projects: I would like this to update any existing names accordingly. However, some projects already have this naming convention applied so anything already containing it would need to be ignored so not to have repeated info.For new projects, I'd want this naming to be applied when an issue from one of our many request queues gets converted to a project. Is there a way to look across all request queues or on creation of any project? Also, the issue name does not always convert over to the project name so it would need to be the Project name and not the Resolving Issue name.Remember, I'm completely new to Fusion so talk to me like I'm 5 so I can understand, I won't be offended! ☺️Thanks.

Hi folks, I have a scenario (a literal scenario, not a Fusion scenario) whereby a user completes content into a table in a GoogleSheet. I then want to take that content and populate it into like-for-like fields in a custom form attached to an issue/request in Workfront. I've done this quite happily using an Excel output to a CSV, Parse CSV, Create Record, Misc Action to attach the template to add the Custom Form and then Update Record to populate the csv data into the form.Is there an equivalent obtaining/preparing the data from an array in a GoogleSheet? I'm playing around with Get Range Values, but not having any joy so far at getting a set of map-able fields I can use to populate a form. Any guidance appreciated and if I figure it out, I'll post a reply to myself in case helpful!

Good morning. I am trying to use fusion to set a date on a date field that is 5 days from "now" using addDays(now;5) but it keeps counting the weekends. I would like to skip the weekends and only add 5 WORK days, but addWorkDays(now;5) is not working. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I've using the Misc action module to convertToProject from a project template. In the project template I have some Access Settings defined which are different to the system access settings defined for Project Preferences > Tasks & Issues. When converting an Issue to a project in workfront using this template the custom Access Settings are maintained. When converting to a project using Fusion they are not. Is there any way to set the converted Project Access settings to be the same as the template when using Fusion to convert?

We are still receiving a few submissions from a wufoo form. We'd like to have them automatically create a new request and map a few fields. Does anyone have any experience doing this? Would appreciate any pointers!

I am trying to get a comment from Azure Devops to Workfront and Im only missing the process of tagging the users that were tagged on the original comment. I am trying to add users by placing an array under the Notify field but it is creating two comments one for each notified person. How can I tag two or more people in the same comment using the notify Field?

As most companies, we're stretched thin and we just became thinner. I feel like Clark Griswald plugging in the lights and their not working - I must be missing something simple. Here's what I'm trying to do: (essentially create the same report I already have in WF, automatically by WF Fusion). Create a CSV from data in WF on a regular interval. (How do I get this data into WF Fusion? I've already built it into a data structure?)Save the CSV file in a specific SharePoint location with the same name.What am I missing? Argh!

Hi Fusion community, We can't use the native user or job role cost rate fields, so we went ahead and created a custom field on the user object to store, and hide, cost rates for each user. I want to use Fusion to calculate a task's sum cost based on all of the hour entries against it and users cost rates.  We have multiple users logging hours to a task.  Each user has a different cost rate.  I've gotten as far as calculating the sum cost, per users on a task, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to aggreate these values into one Task Cost value. Here's what I have:  I'm getting the correct CostbyUser for the task, but I'm wondering if setting this up as a variable might not be the way to go about it in order to them aggregate all of the CostbyUser values?Thanks!Nick 

I want to be able to use the latest Salesforce Bulk API 2.0 to upload/update 2000+ records in Salesforce in one go.According to the SF docs, you must be using v47 to be able to do this (see https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.api_asynch.meta/api_asynch/queries.htm)When I open the Salesforce Custom API Call module the endpoint is set to "Enter a path relative to <Instance URL>/services/data/v46.0/."Where the version is set to v46.0 Does anyone know a way to override this? I have tried setting the endpoint to /services/data/ and other variations of this but no luck!Or can anyone at Adobe tell me when it will be upgraded to v47?
