Workfront Fusion

I want to create a small Fusion scenario that takes in a .csv file and uses the information therein to create Issues in a project in Workfront. This means mapping the fields from the .csv to the corresponding fields in the custom form to create the issue.Most of the fields are straightforward and map across with no problem, but there are 3 multi-select fields (at least one answer must be given, but there could be multiple answers). I am a bit lost as to how to get this to work! I've tried leaving them blank vs selecting all of the options but neither work as hoped. Do I need to create an array variable grabbing the selected options from the .csv?  If anyone has an example or can show me what to do this would be really helpful.Thanks The .csv fields of Segment, Market (region) and Platform that can have multiple options The issue created but the multi-select fields aren't mappedSet up of the create Issue module, I'm not sure how to map these here, have tried sel

@ewanh I currently have 3 scenarios  created because I want each to run on different schedules. Is there a way to build in run times into the scenario rather than using the scheduler? I'd like to combine the 3 since they are all related.

Hello Community, Is there any way to validate a Fusion module completes it's step before the next module begins processing? I see tools for Break and Commit. Not sure if the commit being attached to a step means that step has to complete before the next step or if it means something else. I am unable to find documentation on the Fusion Tools modules and the ? button in the tool settings does not work. I essentially have a scenario that attaches a Project template with template tasks already created. Based on the criteria found in my issue, after Project conversion, I have a step that deletes the undesired tasks. This is followed by another module that updates the Project status. Well depending on the environment or latency, the Project status is updated before the previous step of deleting the specified tasks have completed. We want to make sure the delete step completes before the project status is updated. We have considered time outs but that will take trial and

I've built a simple scenario that creates projects from a csv list and adds a template task structure to build out the projects for the coming quarter with projected dates etc.However one field from the csv (the project owner) can't map to a field in the create project module - project name maps to Name and launch date maps to Projected Completion Date, but the only owner-related option is Owner ID. I'm a little confused as I assumed I could map the PM's name to that field, given when I run a Workfront report to show only "project manager x"'s projects, one filtering criteria I use is that the Owner ID = the project manager's name, and that report works fine. Likewise, in the create project module in Fusion, when clicking into the Owner ID field during mapping, it loads a list of Owner names, not IDs. I appreciate I may have explained it poorly but does this sound like a challenge anyone else has faced? Anyone got a good tip for getting around this, or simply updating a serie

I'm sure this is another easy one but it's not working for me. All I want is to create a scenario where the Planned Completion Date will update to match the Actual Completion Date when a task is marked as completed. Currently I'm using: -Watch Field, Record Type: Task, Field: status-Filtering for (newTextVal equal to CPL & plannedCompletionDate not equal to actualCompletionDate)-Update Record, ID: objID, Record Type: Task with the Planned Completion Date updating to match the actualCompletionDate   

Hi Fusion Community,Goal:- Set up a Watch Record trigger module on the task object, based the following filtering:If the Planned Start Date or Planned Completion Date values on a task are modified (updated) to result in one or both of these dates falling outside the current monthORIf the old state Status value is not equal to CPL (Complete) and the new state Status value is equal to CPLI hesitantly tried just setting up a Watch Events trigger module, and then did the above filtering after that, but given we have lots of users updating lots of tasks, almost every second, I think I just about broke Workfront (and Fusion) - too many concurrent API connections (error), and a massive scenario queue that couldn't keep up.  FYI - using this method, I created a Set Multiple Variables module that took the new and old states of the Planned Start and Completion dates, as well as variable for NOW, and did a filter after that, using these variables, to filter out only the records I wanted to p

We have a user that wants to send an automated notification to all the people on the people tab of a project. I am trying to figure out how to get the list of people on the project. They may or may not be assigned to a task. I don't want everyone who the project has been shared with, just the people who show if you click People on the Project's left nav. I have tried reading related records for the Record Type Project User and am getting the following error: "[422] PRTU is not a top level object and can't be requested directly in internal".  Which doesn't mean anything to me.  I then tried reading the Project Collection Project Users and have the output as user ID. That gets me too many people. I suspect it is returning everyone who is on the teams the project is shared with.  Any suggestions?

Hello, I have a request form wich has multiple sections to request multiple assets in one go.So, after providing the parameters for the first asset, the user is asked, if he/she wants to add another one, and so on. As the whole briefing information results in one bundle, I want to use Fusion to create one task for each asset. After someone approved the request itself, it is converted to a new project as an order. Now the corresponding tasks (for each asset) should be created and assigned to the order-project. I understand, that I need to use an iterator to do the optask -> task conversion, but I do need some assistance on how to achieve that. In the request form, each field has an individual name, e.g. (firstAssetWidth, secondAssetWidth,...), what makes it difficult to generate multiple bundles. Perhaps someone can lead me into the right direction. Thanks in advance.RegardsLars

Hello, Perhaps anybody can help me:I have created a custom webhook, which should receive a pdf file and pass it to the Workfront module "Upload document". Therefore I created the following scenario:The data structure in the module "Aggregate to JSON" does have the type "buffer" for the attached file. Unfortunately the uploaded file in Workfront is corrupt. Does anybody have experiences in achieving this? Thanks in advance. RegardsLars

@andyhess @ewanh  We recently purchased new Fusion instances for our environment and when I exported a blueprint from an old instance to a new one the HTTP module was no longer available. In fact the imported blueprint.json would not save as a new scenario and the old instance stopped running ("you are using a premium app ... upgrade your plan") I'm being told the old instance was an "integration" and the new is an "automation only." What is the difference between the two exactly?

Hello community,I'm working with Fusion and I'm trying to find a way to determine if a number (input bundle) is exactly divisible by specific values using math functions available. Hello folks, My team is relatively new to FUSION. We've created a new scenario and are attempting to have it 'IMMEDIATELY' triggered we've specified in the associated WEBHOOK.However, for some 'unknown' reason our new scenario is not triggering which as we understand it means that not all of the 'criteria' we've specified for the scenario's webhook is being met. We've attempted to also run it manually, however, it merely 'spins' as it's looking for items which 'match' the webhook's triggering criteria (which I'm including below).Only the 'status' part of the below statement is specific to the project(s) status which we've defined which associated project(s) would have to meet.  We've doublechecked the new status of 'Run Tasks Exclusion' which we've verified is spelled 'exactly' the same as the new status value we've setup in our Workfront Sandbox01 instance.Would greatly appreciate any suggestions/thoughts anyone familiar with FUSION might have an be willing to prov

I need to compare two fields against each other in a single search query.  In Workfront, I would do:DE:Deployment Level - Pursuits=FIELD:workEffortDE:Deployment Level - Pursuits_Mod=ne I'm not sure how to do this in Fusion.  Would this be correct? 

I'm using standard fields (large text) and picklist and trying to map values from the custom fields on a custom Issue form to the same custom fields on a custom Project form - and whether adding to a data structure used in a Create JSON step, or directly mapping from the webook data to the fields in a Update Record module I am getting a 422 error - whether that value is present, or even null. It sounds like 422 is Workfront's way of saying I get what you are asking me and it looks to be correctly structured, but I don't like / understand it? Why would this be happening - we have lots of other text fields that map just fine.... but not these three. Super frustrating when there's an error, but no solution provided. And search hasn't helped either - so maybe the community can :-)

I'm trying to build a fusion process that will mark an issue or task as Approved or Rejected after I use fusion to validate fields are compliant. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this and have it "approved" vs just changing the status? We'd like to have the system status update appear noting it was "approved". I can't seem to figure out an option for an approval vs status change.  Thanks,Kellie

Using Fusion, I need to: 1. Download an Excel file from a Workfront Project.2. Update that Excel file. 3. Upload the Excel file back to the Workfront Project. I can't figure out how to parse an Excel file and having the customer save the file as a *.csv is not an option. Ideas?

Hello AllSend me an email module in Fusion does not have a configuration to provide email address and it is failing with the below error. Appreciate any help. WarningNo email address is specified. 

I am looking to create an associative array. That is to say an Array that uses Key/Value Pairs instead of indexes. Alternatively, I would be just as happy to be able to create a Collection (as that has key/value pairs) BUT, it seems that there is no way to create these things... only ways to read them and get information out of them. Can anyone add any insight to this? It's shouldn't be rocket science: Array_Name = [   "first_name": "Wes",    "last_name": "Denaro",    "frustration_level": "elevated"] There is no documentation that outlines how to create this. Hey all! I've been digging through the archives trying to find an answer to this, but it seems like nothing is quite addressing my issue, so I humbly put forth my question for the great minds here! I've been asked to set up an automatic "LOE Score" field which will basically take a 1-5 scale value from a Level of Effort custom field, then multiply that by various multipliers that will be defined by choices made on other custom fields in the same form. For example, there is another field that will ask if the project is a Rush request, and if "Yes" is selected, it will multiply the LOE Score by 2. There will be several multiplier fields like this, and I need to the calculated field to be able to check and apply whichever multipliers are selected. I know it should be possible because I built something similar a few years back, but sadly I wiped out the sandbox it was on before I realized my code was there, and I've long since forgotten how it was made... can anyone help me out w
