Workfront Fusion

Hi Everyone Kindly note the below pointsGet Auth Token is a simple HTTP request with a user name & password sent as a POST req.The Generated Auth Token is valid for 1 HourI would like to store the ID generated in the datastore whereby other scenarios can use the ID for performing various CRUD operations.If Expired , then I would like to wait for 1 minBased on the above points I would like to implement a scenario as per the attached diagram. Can someone let me know if this is possible ? Kindly also let me know if there a better alternative for the same ?  ThanksHarish

I have a scenario that is returning a users name from a requests custom field.  On my form it stores just the name but the search module returns the string below.  I've looked at all the function Fusion offers but I can't see one that would allow me to parse just the ID. Hi All, I'd like to remove a reviewer from a proofing workflow through Fusion.ProofHQ API is exposing a deleteProofReviewer() method. It is described as a way to "Remove the reviewer from the proof. By design, the creator and owner of a proof cannot be removed"deleteProofReviewer() argument list only requires the User ID, no Proof file_id....?Tried to add a File_id argument but no luck. Tried to reproduce the UI feature: doing a POST to https://workflowmanagement.my.workfront.adobe.com/proof/file/deleterecipients adding a WF sessionID as parameter or header, no luck either. Is there a way to remove a user from a proofing workflow? Thank you! nico

I have been able to set up custom approval processes with the help from the cookbook, but I noticed that my approvals are showing up in the system approval processes.  When I created the approval process I set it to "isPrivate: true" but when I look at the system processes, that setting is listed as false.   I also created a 1 off single approval and confirmed in fusion that it shows as "isPrivate: true", and it did not show in the system approval processes so I'm assuming that's the setting I need. I even added an 'update approvalprocess' module after I create my custom process to update it with the setting changed to isPrivate true, but it still doesn't change. There is no error, it just doesn't seem to do anything. Do I need to have another setting enabled for the privacy setting to work?

I have a scenario were I'd like to remove the change status ability on the issue when its run.  I found the Share object in API Explorer but wasn't clear on how I could remove Change status.  Has anyone done something like this and could provide a bit of guidance (thanks in advance)?    

Hello, We are trying to create new users using Fusion and setting up their layout templates and resource pool. However, when we try to fetch the custom API module in Fusion, it only allows to read the system generated layout templates and resource pools (default ones) and not user specific or group specific ones. Is there a way this can be achieved?

What does the community think is the best way to start off in Fusion?  Did everyone just jump right in and start playing?  I have a good background in various programming languages and also Microsoft Power Automate.  I'm trying to deside if I'll need to purchase consultation hrs.    In trhe meantime I am going through the available tutorials. Any advice on how to begin would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,I'm calling for Black Belt Fusion experts, hoping for help with resolving this mystery. I have a custom form (with loads of fields) on the Issue object in WF. I have a Fusion Scenario that I need to run when one of these fields (FIELD2) is updated on an existing issue, or a new issue is created with this field populated.The filters defined for the webhook look like this:Record type: Issue State: New state Filters: DE:FIELD1 EQUAL Yes AND DE:FIELD2 Changed AND connection updates included Record Origin: New and Updated Records When I CREATE a new issue that matches the filters, 2 events are fired: one "CREATE" and one "UPDATE" event. So my scenario runs twice and I can't figure out why.The Fusion scenario does not update FIELD2, so the 2nd event is not triggered by Fusion itself. I checked the data in the output bundle of the "Watch event" Fusion module in both runs and found the following:- The "newState" data is exactly the same in the CREATE event and in th

Whenever we have an error, we call a webhook to store the error in Workfront, so we can track the errors. However, if we use the retry error handler, we get duplicate errors. We would like to identify these duplicates and ignore them. The execution ID increments, so we can't use that value to see if an error is a duplicate. We don't know of any other ID variable to tie these executions together. We need some way to know if an execution is a RETRY of a previous execution. Any ideas welcome! 

Using the Workfront module-Upload Document it requires a related Record ID BUT using the API you don't need that.I don't have a related record ID, I just want to upload the file. How do you upload a file without that record ID?

Hi all, with the restriction of only being able to attach douments in one place to a request - causing issues when that request 'sporns' several tasks and so the attached document can't be 'attached' to the right task ... has anyone got any workarounds .....   The only 1 I can think of is allowing the requestor to add the document name in a dedicated text field for that part of the request, and using FUSION to find that document (by name) and move/copy it into the created task when it becomes a project. Any other ideas ??? Thanks  

I want to build a scenario that looks at a project's tasks to see if they are complete. The project can have up to 3 specific tasks with set names that need to be completed. Is there a way I can accomplish this using custom fields while still using an instant webhook event? Like something along the lines of Example pseudocode, I know there are some logic errorsIf 1,2,3 or 1,2 or 1,3 or 2,3 or 1 or 2 or 3 = CPL ; true ; false 

I'm looking for a way to trigger a warning or flag when a user attempts to create a project with a name that already exists in Workfront. The goal is to prevent unintentional duplication and maintain clean project naming across the system.I've explored using custom forms and calculated fields, but Workfront Core doesn’t seem to support real-time validation or lookups for duplicate detection. Hi, I am trying to find an easier way to do this, my current solution works, but intermittently results in empty values. I am looking at the number of projects in each status and then pushing it back to Workfront for daily reporting. I am searching for a list of projects, then using a numeric aggregator module to get the number of projects in each status (this works perfectly). The aggregator module gives me an array of collections, with each collection containing Status and the count. Then I use an Arrar Aggregator module to combine all the statuses and counts into a single array. Finally, a Set Multiple Variables module will be used to set the count of each status to a matching variable that can be used in the workfornt update call. The Set Multiple Variable is where empty values are recorded intermittently.   

Hi team, Has anyone exported Workfront report data to Tableau using Fusion? We are currently building out multiple Fusion scenarios that align with different use cases we have and this is one we are considering for our next build. Hi All,this is rather generic question about how to best handle a high number of search results.The Workfront Search module in Fusion gives you the option to set a limit on the number of search results returned, but what if I need all matching records and the number can be high (several hundreds)? For example, I need to pull a list of all Assignments in a project and process each of them. For a large and complex project with many tasks this list can be extensive.How can I make sure that all matching records are returned and processed, while not risking to reach the 40 minutes runtime limit, etc.Is there a way to obtain and process them in batches?Any ideas are appreciated.Thanks,Tibor
