Workfront Fusion

Hi Everyone, I ran into an interesting problem where I wanted to trigger AWS lambda from Workfront Fusion which was protected. As far as I can see for now there is an option to create signature but only two are available and there is no AWS4-HMAC-SHA256. Also there are only modules for S3 buckets but none for lambda at the moment.I appreciate any input. While migrating a large set of data—around 4k+ values—within a specific record type (having various Id's, business areas..) from one Workfront sandbox (Sandbox2) to another (Sandbox1), specifically in the Planning area.Is there a recommended way to bulk import these values into the same record type in the destination environment? I’m aware of Kick-Starts, but I’m curious if there are any best practices, limitations, or alternative tools (like Fusion or API) that others have used successfully for this kind of migration.Any guidance or examples would be greatly appreciated!

Hi There, I am looking to grant access for a user/group to project after an action performed in Workfront via fusion. Is it possible possible through Workfront modules or should I use HTTP module. If its http module, please help me with api calls/queries.  I am also looking to remove access after an action in workfront, please help me with your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

Hi,  I am building out a Fusion Senario using webhooks. I was wondering what other strategies exist to limit access to the webhook besides an IP restriction? We would be hosting a server in AWS and can't use a IP restriction to restrict inputs from it.  Are there access token restrictions you can setup? OAuth / JWT restrictions? How do you secure your wehooks? 

Is it possible to edit the layout of custom forms when you download them? Like adding the project title above the form name, or remove POWERED BY Adobe Workfront at the righthand bottom of each page.

Hi Team, I'm working on a usecase where I need to create a Interactive Proof for a Web URL and need some ideas and suggestion on how to achieve this. I have a field attached to an object(TASK) where we will enter the URL of the webpage that needs to be proofed and I need to develop the fusion scenario that will automate Interactive Proof for that URL entered. Hi Team, We have an issue where we need to download the document version based on the document version id. I am aware that we have a WF module download document which only supports for the document download by ID but not the version ID. Please share your thoughts here.

Hello,I am hoping this will be a simple one and someone can help.I need to copy an existing Project using Fusion but not sure which module is best to use.I will have a Typehead field that holds the Project name, so I should be able to get the ID from there using a Parse JSON module.Hope someone can help, thanks in advance!

Hello, perhaps I just looked at the wrong places, but I am trying to find a solution for this: If a task is set to a specific status, the users should not be able to modify the dates within the task.As I am not aware of any other solution, I would like to implement the following workaround, which fulfils my needs. Since we have the new sharing modal, there is the possibility to turn off inherited permissions. Afterwards I would like to grant access to the project's group with view access only. This will prevent editing all fields in the task, but I think there is no other way. Now I need to find a solution to automate this using Fusion: Watch Event for status change -> Turn off inherited permissions -> Grant access to project group Does anybody know, if there is an easy way to do that? In the meantime I will have a look at the ACSRUL endpoint and try my luck... Thanks in advance. RegardsLars  

Hello, I am attempting to pull information from a .csv file and would like to map that data to specific fields on a project. The csv is originating from a spreadsheet. There are a few cells in the spreadsheet that I would like to map data to some project fields. The CSV file that is being uploaded parses with no data in the bundles, only the header: Any insight on what I need to do in order to access the rest of the data in the csv? Could it be how the excel sheet is formatted?Why are my bundles showing up blank? Here is my Parse CSV Module for context: 

Hi everyone, Recently we started experiencing an issue with History log not showing the run history properly. Sometimes it just opens the execution, but without actual data flow and sometimes it shows an errorUsually, it happens with the scenario when it has large number of operations. Have you encountered this? If so, what was your fix? 

HI there,We have integrated Workfront with Azdo boards and bringing any Issues created in Workfront as user stories in Azdo using Fusion scenario. We have a requirement to bring any comments updated in WF request to Azdo user story. For this I have used "Watch a record" module on a project, configure to watch for "update records only". This module is bringing any update on WF request and due to this, this module is bringing many bundles as output (any field updates). I feel like this is not an optimal way and looking for other options to bring in only WF request comments.  Also was checking "Watch field" module but don't see an option to select "Notes" Record type. Appreciate if anyone can provide any suggestions/pointers to bring only "comments" updates. Thanks.   

When looking at the historical data from a specific run of a scenario, I sometimes see "Cycles" (see screenshot). It is a tab that appears to the right of Incomplete Executions. Up until today, if it showed up there would be only two. Today I am reviewing a scenario run and see 15 cycles. What are these cycles? What causes them to show sometimes? We’re currently using validation logic in Workfront to block certain special characters in the Project Name field on a request form. However, maintaining a list of every disallowed character is not scalable, and users are still finding creative ways to enter unintended characters.We’re looking for a solution to restrict all special characters, ideally using a broader pattern or rule, rather than validating each one manually.Has anyone implemented a global validation (maybe through Fusion, custom API, or smarter field logic) that restricts project names to only letters, numbers, spaces, and maybe a few approved symbols (e.g. dashes or underscores)?Any guidance or example logic would be super helpful.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to update dynamically user's Teams ("Other teams", not home team) with custom API call as I can't find suitable default option neither in Update User module, nor Update Teams module. I'm able to pull current user's team(s) and add a new team to the collection, but when I try to update user with this new value (collection), I get an error: Any thought on how this can be resolved? Or maybe other ideas how I can either add certain users to the Team or add Team (as Other team) to certain users I'd appreciate any suggestions Thank you!

I was wondering if Fusion would it be able to do the following scenario? If a requester submits a URL in the request form would the system be able to check an excel sheet or if we put in all the URLs for the system to check it would name the project a certain name? 

Hopefully a simple one for the FUSION experts out there. I'm attaching tasks to a project from a task template  Having found the task ID of the task I want them to be added BENEATH (234:ID above), when I put that ID in the PredecessorTaskID field - it just puts all the templated tasks at the bottom. Am I using the right field for this - or is there another way ?

Hi Workfront Fam. I am looking to create a Fusion scenario that utilizes the number of decisions a user makes per month. We are able to view this information on reports in Workfront. Additionally, there is an API module called User Decisions in the unsupported API version (this would be perfect by the way). Do you know of a workaround to find the number of proof decisions a user makes in a month using Fusions? Do we have an idea when the User Decisions will be supported via API?  The goal of the scenario: utilizing user decisions to systemically track and adjust license level from light to contributor. 

I have a few scenarios where I use watch events to listen for new documents.  However now I want to create one to listen for a document added to a specific folder in projects.Is there any specific way to do this in the watch event directly or would I have to listen for all added documents and then somehow test for whether it lives in that folder?I don't see anyway to identify the folder a document lives in. Thanks in advance for your helpFrank 

I have a route in my scenario where the objective is to truncate all strings in a column that are 2000 characters or greater, and I'm hoping someone can suggest a more elegant solution. Right now, I use a Search module as the first module in the route and it is searching just for ANY entry in the datastore that has a unique key (i.e. EVERY row in the data store).   Then I tried to use an iterator module to go through - what I'd thought was -  every search result, and only if the string is 2000+ chars - depending on the row type  - a type-specific variable would be set to create a truncated string to ultimately overwrite the value in the original string field of the datastore.  However this approach has produced very problematic results. I learned that the iterator module processed each search result in an array separately, creating individual bundles. And the bundles kept on proliferating so that even if there were 161 rows in the datastore,
