Hi All,I need some clarification about ECID cookie behavior. Currently, ECID cookies are set at the subdomain level, and we are planning to update the configuration so that they are set at the root domain for persistence across subdomains.My doubt is: if an ECID already exists on a user’s browser, is it possible to prevent a new ECID from being generated when we change the cookie domain? Or is there any other way to migrate cookies without affecting previous users? If a new ECID is always created, is the only option to use visitor.setCustomerIDs() for logged-in users?Has anyone implemented this type of migration, and what approach worked best?

We found a range of IP addresses in Workspace that has 99% bounce rate. Further investigation showed that the user agent looks extremely suspicious with some of them being "HeadlessChrome" or using Windows 10 and an extremely outdated version of Chrome. We're convinced they are bots.I would like to add them to the Bot Rules as an IP address but cover the whole range. This is not the real IP address that will be added but just an example. If the IP address starts with "15.12.", will it work if I enter 15.12.0.0/16 in the Bot Rules with IP Address selected in the dropdown?

Any hints are appreciated.Thank you! ********************Desired state: A single dimension that captures all user engagement clicks — both tabs/UI interactions (no link) and button or link clicks (navigational) — similar to how the Activity Map Link dimension works in AA without inflating the number of clicks.  Current state:We have a Custom Link (web.webInteraction.name) enabled in CJA, however, it's capturing both:Collect call (Activity Map) → e.g., “Access the full report” Interact call → e.g., “Webtile CTA Click” As a result, the same action is recorded twice, doubling counts for link clicks in the Custom Link dimension.  Question: We explored exposing web.webInteraction.linkClicks.name, but that field isn’t available in our schema. Dear Experts,Need your expert opinion on a situation. Consider a Parent Content Website ABC.com where mostly all paid campaigns land onto and further it routes the users to different products purchase path. From the content website ABC.com the visitors can go to the subdomain xxx.ABC.com and purchase the product. But both ABC.com and xxx.ABC.com have different Adobe Launch Scripts as they belong to different departments altogether. The Adobe Analytics implementation on xxx.ABC.com is just a basic OOTB and not yet customised. I am responsible for implementing and reporting Adobe Analytics on xxx.ABC.com. The ask from the business is to connect the journey and know how many visitors were sent to ABC.com via campaigns and how many purchased from xxx.ABC.com. Due to Adobe Analytics handled by two different organisations its a tough situation how to technically report on end-to-end journey. In my opinion the best method would be to use the Adobe Launch script of ABC.com on xxx.ABC

Hello, I just noticed that the results for "referring domain" visits lists paid traffic (the URL of the pages contains the "paid" string) under unspecified instead of the specific platform (paid ads on instagram, fb, etc.) How to get referring domain to filter paid traffic into its own category instead of unspecified?

Dear all, What is the best practice to track the external campaign ID when mobile launch via deeplink?  Capture External Campaign ID in lifecycle call or the first state event send (sendEvent)?  sendEvent should be pretty straightforward to do the xdm mapping. but I don't find any related instruction document to tell me the sample coding syntax about how to add that to the lifecycle call (swift and java). Do you guys can share me the ideas? Thank you so much! Regards,Lemen

Can we use Adobe Analytics to track user’s before we get consent? My client is in tech industry, and we think we are loosing on a ton of data because the tracking only starts when the user “allows for marketing cookies” on the pop-up. Like how to track before getting user consent? A limited tracking. Is there a way to have a partial tracking without cookies? I did found this tool called analytics tool which does this - can we move its data to Adobe or do this exact thing without using another too?

I have few sister websites from our main website. If I look at the Marketing Channels I can't see the Referrer Domains if I use for instance Marketing Channel Detail or Referring Domain. inductiekookplaatt.com is our main website and I want to see how many visitors were from our sister website top-x.nl when they converted. What dimension do I use to see the referrers within Internal in Workspace?

How to calculate avg time on site using adobe datawarehouse data ?

I've read different articles a number of times and just absolutely fail to understand how and why this populates.Low-traffic value in Adobe Analytics | Adobe Analytics It says:Adobe Analytics uses two thresholds to determine which unique values are displayed in reports each month: A low threshold and a high threshold. These thresholds can be adjusted by Adobe from time to time. The current threshold limits are: Low threshold: 2,000,000 unique values during the month. High threshold: 2,100,000 unique values during the month. Reporting is not affected if a variable does not reach the low threshold in a given month. Hi everyone!I have a use case where Source A is a product recommendation system (it logs SKUs recommended to the user), and Source B is a store with purchase events.Both sources include a common customer ID and SKUs are consistent across both.I'd like to know:What's the best way in CJA to attribute purchases (from Source B) to previously recommended SKUs (from Source A)?Ideally, I'd like to know how to match purchase SKUs with recommendation SKUs at the individual customer level.I’d love to hear suggestions. Is there a dimension or metric that allows us to check whether the cart contains products or is empty when a user visits the site?We're experiencing an issue where the cart is automatically emptied due to cookies, and we want to understand what percentage of users are affected by this.Although there is a metric called 'Cart Removals (event)', the data shows zero, so we’re looking for an alternative way to check this.

We all use Adobe Analytics (or CJA) day in and day out. And, let’s be honest, most of us are probably at least a little bit nerdy. I’m willing to bet that you’ve got a favourite feature (or two or three). So, let’s nerd out a little bit about our favourites - what is your go-to feature? Why do you think it’s the best? Why do you think everyone should be using it?   Is it a certain visualization that helps explore your data? Is it a type of segment or metric that you like to build? Or is it the way you set up your processing rules?   It probably comes as no surprise to anyone who has seen me talk at Summit or in the Skill Exchange, but my favourite feature is using functions in calculated metrics (and metric building in general). A lot of the functions are vastly underused, but they’re super powerful and can definitely help you up your reporting game. Building custom metrics is already a pretty powerful tool, but with the added use of the functions, it's a whole other level. F

SOme Base Url(Prop 49) variable value are not visible in Adobe Analytics API:  For Example: https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/dlp/geforce-gtx-1080-ti 1 is visble for 28th August 2025 in dashbaord but not in api pull.

Currently, it is working perfectly for my implementation, but it turns out that when I go back to the previous CTAs, the rule is no longer firing. Steps:I clicked the CTA 1 and the rule with "Enters Viewport" firesI clicked the CTA 2 and the rule with "Enters Viewport" firesI go back to the CTA 1, but the rule is no longer firing. Sample web appearance:Sample Rule setup: Question:From this release note, it seems like enter viewport would only trigger once time per page, but I am just wondering if someone has a way to retrigger the rule when I go back to CTA 1?https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/tags/extensions/client/core/release-notes  Thank you in advance.  

Hello - I would like the community's advise to see which option is better to track the Checkout process initiation. Should we use: 1. scCheckout event at the start of the Checkout process OR2. Page views to count the Checkout process Which one is better to use and why? Where should the scCheckout event trigger if we are going with that option? Isnt pageviews of the Checkout page and scCheckout giving us the same data? Thanks!

Hi, We have an direct call identifier for link click and when link clicks hapeens there data layer is loading with few datapoints . which we can use and assign evars. the floow is working majority of the situvations but one senario rule is firing but unable get the data layer values. whats best way we can handly these timing issues to load data. i have tried event lisners and setting up some delay it's worked but i am fine with these solution , so i am expection any other better recommendation which can deal with these issue and timing issues as well.
