Hi All, We have a system where we look at the Raw Full URL of the page, then the Operating System, then the IP Address in Adobe Analytics to identify bot traffic. We are getting a full URL with "?test=1" in the query string parameter that seems to be bot traffic. Are there other ways or query strings in the full raw URL that would indicate Bot Traffic too? Thanks!

I have created segments to identify my products in the rows of a freeform table like below. Hit level Segment Name: Shoes (evar 1 = Shoes)Hit level Segment Name: Garments (evar 1 = Garments)Hit level Segment Name: Furniture (evar 1 = Furniture) I measure the number of clicks for these above segments using event 3. Can I put a segment on top of event 3 in the column and increase the number of hits along with the segments in the rows? For example, I want to include another criteria of evar 2 = socks. I understand that I can put a "OR" condition in all of the existing segments. Looking for a solution to add a segment through column. Is there a way to do this in Adobe?

Hi, our team gets a lot of questions regarding the time spent on site OOTB Adobe metrics and which one to use for which circumstance. Can someone help explain the differences between them? The Adobe article is not very helpful. Which metric would I use in the following circumstances?What is the total time spent on average at a sitewide level?What is the total time spent on average on Page A?What is the total time spent on average for segment #1 All Visits (OOTB adobe) vs. visits that make a purchase? (segment = VISIT container, Orders exists).If we could understand which time on site metrics to use where, that would help us a lot in improving our website and conversion rate. Thanks- 

@jennifer_dungan : I did not find any Adobe Docs URL which explains validity of Visit Number. Can you explain how number is incremented. Can i use Visit Number as one session? Kindly share if you have any reference docs URL.

We have different products on our site like Shoes, Garments, Furniture etc. I have created 3 segments to identify these products. I have an event which gets triggered every time a user clicks on these products (Event 3). We have identified a revenue unit associated to each of these clicks. For example -  Shoes - 1.23 per clickGarments - 0.83 per clickFurniture - 0.98 per click So in a day if there are 200 clicks for shoes, 100 clicks for Garments & 100 clicks for Furniture, Total revenue for that day would be (Clicks * revenue per click). Shoes = 1.23 * 200 = 246Garments = 0.83*100 = 83Furniture = 0.98*100 = 98 My client wants to see this calculation done on a single column in the freeform table in the below template in adobe workspace.                   Total RevenueShoes                 246Garments             83Furniture&

Hi all, I have a freeform table with percentages. Adobe Analytics shows an average of 14%. However, if I save all the figures in Excel and calculate the average there, I only get 12%. In the table, I use month as a dimension on one side and the number of users who must have performed certain actions on our site (e.g. watched a video at least once or read an article to the end at least once) on the other side. Why is there a difference of 2% between the value I calculated and the value from Adobe?Thanks,Sophie

Hi, I am trying to create a visualization where I want to know where users are going between an entry and conversion. Flow visualization allows me to set either start or end point.  Is there a way to create such visualization to know user footprint.   Thanks!

My understanding is that Occurrences are used because the Next Page report measures how many times a particular page is viewed after the anchor page. Is it possible to replace Occurrences with Visits? Would this adjustment show me how many visits the next page receives specifically after users arrive on the landing page? I've also tried using a Flow chart, but it uses Path Views as the metric. For example, I have over 1 million visits to the landing page, but the flow chart only shows 100k Path Views. Interestingly, the next step count in the Flow chart aligns closely with the Next Page report.Any advice or tips would be greatly

I have a question regarding our recent transition from Adobe Analytics to Customer Journey Analytics. As we are no longer using Adobe Analytics, I’ve been using the debugger to check the tags being fired in Customer Journey Analytics. However, I noticed that I cannot see any information being captured, such as campaign data or UTM parameters.Has anyone else experienced this issue or can offer guidance on resolving it? I would appreciate any insights into ensuring that campaign tracking and UTM parameters are properly captured in Customer Journey Analytics. I am working on answering a question about our search results page and I am hoping that there is a calculated metric that can be built to solve this. I have created a metric that can be used to gauge our search relevancy, that is structured as cart additions on our SRP divided by total searches. However, I'd also like to create a binary metric that will return 1 if an user adds to cart from the SRP, and 0 if an user does not add to cart on the SRP.Is this achievable in the calculated metric builder? Any advice or tips are greatly appreciated!

I have several alerts configured, but we are receiving many unnecessary alerts.I would like to know if we can currently configure the following scenario:For metrics related to revenue from the purchase flow, I would analyze the revenue trend. I want to calculate Daily Active Users on my website, and the definition of Daily Active Users is "Users who were active on more than 15 days in a month". There is no variable already defined to calculate Number of Active Days by a users. How to carry out the requirement in Adobe Workspace.

Hi, I have doubts about the bounce rate and its formula. It is currently defined as Bounces (visits containing exactly one hit) divided by Entries (number of times a given dimension item is captured as the first value in a visit).On a website I am analyzing, I see that since February of this year, we went from an average of 10% to 30% without any clear explanation (no changes in tagging, no cookie modifications, no increase in traffic), so I want to know if changes have been made in the formula, specifically in the Bounces which is the metric that is increasing.Also, when the page loads, 2 hits are received: one click and one page view. In this case, shouldn't the bounce rate decrease, or is it only considered for page view hits?Thanks

I have an alert that the daily visits were 35% above expected - how does adobe calculate the "expected" value (and thus are able to calculate the % above/below)?  

Is anyone else seeing a jump in visits from a possible bot? In one week, we jumped from 2 million to 3 million visits, which is unusual outside of November.These million visits have no referring domain, multiple user agents, multiple IP addresses, no corresponding orders and most of them bounce after the first page. Almost all are mobile devices but not a specific browser, device, or operating system. It's not tied to a specific geo-location. We know it's bogus, but we can't block it in our usual ways. Does anyone have any other ideas of how to identify and block this traffic?

Hi I'm using an Activity Map Link report in Workspace.  I'm trying to see clicks on 1 specific page.  However is it true that Activity Map Link are eVars which mean they persist? If so some of the clicks picked up in the report might be from other pages? Thanks

Hi All,On a specific page, there are several download file buttons. When a user clicks on any of these buttons, an Adobe Analytics download click is triggered. Please find the attached screenshot, which includes the event and eVar details.Typically, I use eVar7 (Download File Name) as a dimension and event4 as a metric for analysis. Is this the best approach to understand this event in the report, or are there any alternative methods that could make the report more impactful for the client? Your guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Our team does A/B testing rigorously. I am from reporting side and for the initial reporting for every A/B test, we have a adobe dashboard explaining the results with KPIs like impressions, clicks, CTR, lift and few down stream metrics for each version. Typically, we have 2-4 versions for very test - one control and 3 variants. I want to add statistical significance in each dashboard.
